Did plenty of research and this seat had high crash test ratings and was recommended by multiple reputable sources. Reasonable price as well so that was a plus. Our first time trying the Chicco brand as we have used Britax for our convertible seats.Easy install, materials seem to be good quality, and my child finds it very comfortable. Foot rest and snack/toy tray are nice to have.Will update this review in the future if there are any issues

Love this thing, the back comes off easily, it’s light, easy to fasten/release, and seat belt shoulder strap keeper is so that it’s always ready for my 6yr old granddaughter to fasten herself in (love that part of it!). I have bought several different ones over the yrs, and this one, by far is my favorite. I intend to get another one for another grandchild. Wonderful product! I’ve used it for a year now….

Super easy to out tighter and easy to lock into place for older kids.

Kids that are growing out of the Graco baby seats would prefer this.It is a much slimmer profile, very lightweight and easy to install.Only downside is the angle of the backrest, I feel it is too forward causing my child to sit up fully upright or slightly forward (to the point where there were complaints). A little more option to slightly recline would be ideal, it's still possible to attain more recline, but the position can't be locked in due to the product design.
