Docking Kit with Cover for Harley Davidson Touring Road King 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 Gloss Black

I bought these as an alternative to the $180 set from my local HD dealership. These came pre-assembled, so all I had to do was remove the inserts and drop these is. I had them installed in 5 minutes, to include taking the bags off and putting them back on. It took more time to put my tools away than to install these! The only issue I had, which is why only 4 stars instead of 5, was that the bolts supplied were not able to be used due to the washers being too big for the recessed opening in the strut cover. I reused the stock bolts, which are hidden anyway, so no need to do anything other than to drop Locktite on the threads and put them back in.

Product arrived fast. If you're wondering about the black texture it's similar to a smoother cast iron look. It matched the black theme of my 2015 Street Glide so it was no big deal. The install took about 5 minutes and I had no issues. All the hardware I needed was included. My H-D seat and backrest connected right up. The bushings made it a little snug to get the luggage rack on but that's kind of good thing. I took the wife out and had no issue with the seat or rack connected to the bracket. Worth the money considering you would spend 4x as much for a docking system from Harley.

These look really nice and fit great without rattling. The magnets are strong and seem to be holding the covers in place just fine. Time will tell if everything holds together, as of now, I'm very satisfied. The finish isn't as professional as Harley branded products, but for 1/4 the price, I'm perfectly satisfied with what I got and from a couple feet away, you can't really tell the difference. NOTE: It was actually cheaper to buy 2 sets of the 2-pack than one of the 4-pack so check the prices when you order.For reference, I put these on Harley branded docking hardware.

Overall the fit and finish is pretty good. The product works, however the magnet inside came unglued from the cap on all four caps, so whenever I take off the caps to put a rack on, the magnets stay on the docking station and I need to remove the magnets and put them back in the caps. Not a big deal to do, now that I know this is what happens and I just need to make sure not to lose the magnets.

The product was fine but I ordered chrome and received flat black. It’s ok as my ride is black and chrome so I chose to keep them. The bolts provided with washers wouldn’t work with my 2017 Road King so I used the HD factory bolts and it installed perfectly!

Very nice inexpensive alternative to expensive HD brand. Some reviews say the washers don’t fit but they do. The bolts (without the washers) have to be put thru the fender mounts first an then slid thru the washer, and then thru the mount

The magnets that hold the covers to the docking hardware stay on the docking hardware. What ever is used to atatch the magnets inside the covers does not work. Had to crazy glue them back in. I dint use them any more. I bought better ones

All the magnets came off the inside of the covers .. I had to glue them in .. finish was ok but I had to polish them with chrome polish
