I bought this magnifying glass for my mom, and it’s actually very nice! The lens is clear and large, and the built-in light with adjustable color modes makes it so much easier to read fine print. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and works just as described. My mom really likes it. Definitely a great buy!

The light and magnification is very good. So is the weight of it. The only issue I have is the on and off button is where my hand is gripping it so that I’m hitting the light button.

Good lighting and image quality.

My 40-year-old magnifying glass finally gave up the ghost so I had to replace it. Round magnifiers don't really fit my needs so I have remained with the rectangular variety. This magnifier is excellent! It fulfills all my needs. Not only does it magnify larger than my old one, it has lights! Three different light spectrums (spectra?) offer good lighting for differing circumstances. The real winner here, however, in my opinion, is the vendor; the user's manual is very explicit and the meticulous attention to detail -- maintenance tips, use of lights, warranty information, customer service information -- is so professional. The cover keeps the lens clean as well. I would trust any item this vendor has to offer.

This is a plastic magnifier, but it is a good quality. It is very clear, and the light is a plus.

Fantastic product used by my 96 year old mother-in-law to read the daily paper, Sunday church bulletins, books and magazines! The built-in lights work well and can be adjusted from low to high. The magnifying glass is larger than most other hand held magnifiers. And it's simple to use!

MY INITIAL REACTION: I don’t understand the many reviews liking this item. Magnification is less than double no matter how I hold it. The photo they have of tiny print magnified many times over is completely inconsistent with the magnifier I have in my hand. Which I will return shortly.AFTER FURTHER THOUGHT: I am keeping this after all. The mag level is disappointing but sufficient for several hobby things I commonly do. The wide field of view, very nice lighting, and light weight all persuaded me to keep this one after all.OVERALL: If you want high mag, pass on this. If you want modest mag with the other features advertised, this is a good choice.
