Cabinet screwdriver, best for use with hard to reach places

I’ve used Stanley screwdrivers for years and they perform very well. This cabinet tip screwdriver flat blade is great for reaching far into spaces.

Like all Klein tools, I love these screwdrivers. What makes them unique is the extra long shank and very slim slot head. I wore mine out after about 12 years of use, and just ordered 2 more of these. Well worth the money.

The usual Klein quality for this screwdriver except that the rubber cushion on the handle is a tad shorter than older versions. On the other hand, the butt is marked for easy identification in a tool bag or pouch. This is a very effective and versatile size driver which lasts well.

The image for this Klein 605-10 screwdriver is the right look but the wrong size. The overall length of the screwdriver (with handle) is about 14", and the shank is about 10". I needed a long screwdriver to pry the release button under the seat of my Steelcase Leap V2 office chair so I could remove the seat and adjust the gas jet tension. I saw on Klein's site what this screwdriver actually looks like, and included an image here. The image on Amazon (as of February 2024) is the wrong image of a much shorter screwdriver from Klein Tools that's otherwise the same. The 605-10 flat head screwdriver is also sold in a set with the equivalent 603-10 (Phillips head) version. The set number for the pair is 85072.
