The Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask Collection features a dual-benefit formula that helps restore hair health and vibrancy while depositing pure pigments that gradually fade with each wash. Available in seven curated shades so that you can have fun with fashion colors or refresh your existing tone. Platinum is a cool, icy blonde for use on light blonde hair. Results and longevity will vary depending on several factors, including the color and condition of your hair before applying and the frequency with which you shampoo. Generally speaking, the lighter and more porous your hair, the more vibrant and long-lasting the shade. However, we recommend conducting a strand test before application to determine how you hair will respond. Please note that this product does not cover greys. MOCDMP03 Directions Before committing to a full head of color, we recommend conducting a strand test first to assess the level of color deposition. Start by choosing a small piece of hair to test, ideally one thats mostly hidden when your hair is styled normally. Section off the strand and tie the rest out of the way. Apply Color Depositing Mask on the strand and leave on 2 minutes. Rinse. If the color is too subtle, try a second strand and leave on for longer. For more details, visit the blog. 1. Start with clean, towel-dried hair. 2. Section hair and apply a generous amount. Distribute evenly using a wide-tooth comb. 3. Leave on for 5 minutes, depending on desired intensity. 4. Rinse thoroughly. Style as usual. Note: Color Depositing Masks add temporary color that is designed to fade out gradually over time. The lighter the hair, the more vibrant and long-lasting the shade. Nice colour, washes out in 5 washes completely
Really nice colour, I don’t have fully light blonde hair and still worked well. Washed out completely after 4-5 washes, no staining

Rose gold
I ordered the rose gold and kept it on for 15 min, I wanted to make sure it shows the colour but being blonde with highlights it shows just a hint but it depends on how dark or light your hair is and even if it doesnt show a lot it changes a bit the brassiness of blondes

Blonde - Brunette
I used cocoa shade to test if I wanted to commit to going brunette. I was very impressed that just after 1 use it transformed my blonde hair to light brown. The first picture is my hair before using the mask. The second picture is my hair 12 hours after using and the third picture is 24 hours after using. As you can see the colour did begin to fade throughout the first day and a purple tint did begin to appear. However given how well it took to my hair and made such a change in one day I am not complaining. After this I washed my hair and let it soak twice in shampoo and once in conditioner. This removed most of the colour and left me with an ash blonde. This product is perfect if you want to trial a hair colour before committing to a permanent dye. I can now keep the rest of the product for too ups once I dye my hair permanently.

Fantastic product and easy to use.
I use this weekly to keep my colour fresh. The product is easy to apply and smells great. Its is really conditioning too so leaves your hair fabulously smooth and silky soft. Absolute winner which saves me countless visits to the hairdressers! Bottle lasts absolutely ages too and I have very long hair.

Moroccanoil colour mask review.
Personally, I didn't like this colour mask at all. It's an expensive product with may promises which it just doesn't deliver. It's very messy to use as it stains badly everything it touches. The hands, the forehead and the neck... And, most annoyingly, the bathroom. As if it wasnt bad enough, then it will stain your towels, your pillowcase, your clothes afterwards if you hair gets slightly wet... After you get it on the hair it does look nice right after you use it. Then you wash your hair and it strips off staining everything... A few washes and it's gone. What's the point? I still have half a tube I don't want to use as it's so much hassle and mess for a very short lived result. On the positive, I can recommend Moroccanoil oil. Both light and regular versions work brilliantly. The oil smoothes the hair, leaves shine, helps with brushing with no greasiness. And the smell is divine! Don't waste your money on this mask. Try the oil instead! Hope it helps.

Fantastic product!
This is the answer to my summertime hair mares! I let my hair succumb to the greys a few years back when the covid lock down laid all my hair colouring secrets bare! I have been happy with the way it looks apart from during the summer months when the sun seems to give it an unpleasant yellow tinge. This product takes it back to a nice ashy grey shade inside 10 minutes whilst leaving it in the most amazing condition. I can't praise this product enough and will always keep a tube in stock.
