I used this product to convert my bikes presta valves to schrader

No gimmicks here. It's a very simple product that works as advertised. Just read directions and put it to use. Recommended!

Having just recently inherited an older bike of higher quality than my previous bikes, I knew nothing of the Presta valve, so I was excited to see these adapters available to make my existing pumps and gauges work with the new bike. Very simple, if you’re new as well, you have to unscrew the Presta valve to allow it to move, then you can add or remove air. With the cheap plastic adapter that fits in the pump, it works, but not very efficiently, whereas these stay on the bike and basically convert it to where it acts like a Schrader valve of set up.At lower PSI, such as when I first put the new tubes in, I had my doubts as to how airtight the Presta valve would be with this threaded on the stem, but once I cranked the air up to riding levels (in my case 65psi or so), the air pressure keeps the valve shut and this adapter keeps the valve from being pressed to allow air to escape.These are lightweight machined aluminum, the coating seems to be anodized color and not paint which means they’ll be extremely resistant to chipping or scratching.I am completely happy, I have enough to retrofit 2 bikes as well as keeping one in the toolbox, I expect these to last as long as I am able to ride and now I can use any pump out there.

They work fine, but the threading seems very soft, as in installing them permanently on a presta valve should be fine but scewing them on and off each tire filll seems like will strip the threading fast. They make a preta valve work just like a schraeder, in a bad way. The second you clamp on a pump you will start losing air from tire. It'd be nice if a little longer so retained advantage of presta (pump air in while none can escape out). Fine for most tubes but a headache if your presta tube takes high pressure. It's a race to unclamp pump if puttinh in 120# of pressure and don't want to loose a lot of that detaching it from the pump.

Work as instructed and a great value, the only think that’s important to note is that each piece has a small black seal inside it and every time I have used one to pump my bike tires, when I pull it off the valve, the black seal comes off and stays on the bike valve. It’s easy to put back on, but also easy to not notice that the seal if off as I did originally. Without the seal, it won’t work properly.

Overall it does the job. It doesn't seal completely so when filling up the tire there are some leaks. Takes a little longer to fill because of that but not a big deal if you're not using a manual pump.The material feels cheap. Not sure it'll last long. But for the price it's a good value.

My tubeless 29er goes flat after a few weeks if I don't pay attention, then I'm normally a bit out of luck as you need a high pressure compressor to refill a flat tubeless tire. The problem? The gas station doesn't do presta! Old solution? Spend $50 at bike shop to get my tires filled with a bit more sealant and refilled with their shop air compressor! Terrible waste of money!!!Now I just jam 2 of these suckers on, squirt in a little bit more sealant in the new hole (prestas aren't nice about access for sealant either!), put my bike on my bike rack, drive down to the gas station, use the air hose there...and after a little bit of waiting - POP! The tires seal up against the rim nice and flush and they're ready to go. They look beautiful too. Not sure if I'll ever take them off.

These are great. I wanted more versatility on where I could add air to my road bike tires other than my house. Especially on the go when I'm out riding if my tires get low. Now I can put air in them practically anywhere! You do still need to take them off and open the twist-off part on your regular valve and then screw these back on to be able to add air, and you need to twist the valve closed again when you're done of course. But it's not difficult to get them on and off at all. They are well made and you get a few extras. I definitely recommend these if you're like me and would like to be able to add air to your tires without needing your specific bike pump with you.

Ok for the price. Does the job, can be a little tricky removing. That could just be my pump.

I tried this product in the Blue Anodized color, I screwed the adapter down and the blue finish jammed up the valve so the tire will not stay inflated. the adapter keeps the presta valve wide open so the tire does not stay inflated. I have 2 bicycles and I tried them on both with the same result. Totally useles and unfit for purpose, Stay away.

Some of the adapters simply won't work; the screw was defective. Also, they're not compatible with the "old school" valve (the original caps won't fit, and using the standard car pump with them is not as easy as I expected).I would not buy again.Three stars because in the end it did the job (sort of).

Found it hard to blow up bike tire once conversion was installed !! Total junk!!

Se non si è sicuri del giorno giusto, mettete un'intervallo di date!!Buoni adattatori, con 5 pz anche uno disordinato come me, rischia di averne sempre uno a portata di mano al momento del bisogno.
