Kitchen MVP: Use multiple times per day and LOVE IT
The June has been a pleasant surprise and my family and I love it. The recipes are robust, the food recognition is eerily accurate, and I have been continually impressed by what it can do and the ease of use.My wife and I love to cook. We're those people who actually like preparing meals over the course of hours. I don't mean that in a "set it and forget it way"--slow cookers, insta-pot, etc. has never been our thing. We nerd out over food, heating methods, and the chemistry of cooking. Not normal, but not molecular gastronomy. The June has become an invaluable tool in our kitchen because it allows us to do more and have more options to cook. It's like a robotic sous chef. Roasting veggies? Recognized and done perfectly. Eggs? Never fried them more consistently. Baked Chicken? Best I've had. Air Frying? Made me put away my deep frying pan and peanut oil.The app is well designed with interesting recipes that aren't casseroles--it's cookbook quality. Knowing that I can create my own programs to get my bacon, etc. EXACTLY how I like is nice. Being able to check on the food via a live video feed and be notified about cook time is great! The neat thing is knowing that the technology can continue to expand as June is taking an approach similar to Tesla--allowing for updates in app and new functions within the system due to it's design. THIS SHOULD NOT BE OVERLOOKED.We were remodeling our kitchen in a new house and thought the June could be an option to tide us over without our major appliances. We bought this thinking that at the very least, it would be worth saving money over a warming drawer. It has far surpassed our expectations, and is now a valued part of our remodeled kitchen. We use it every day, for almost every meal in some manner (sides, etc.)Is it expensive? Yes, but the "competition" isn't really the same thing--you're not comparing apples to apples with a toaster oven or convection oven. Stack up the things it replaces (toaster, convection, air fryer, second oven, warming drawer, dehydrator, proofing oven, slow cooker) and you've got a superior product that does more, for less overall. Is it worth it? Absolutely. If we broke it, I'd buy another. If it was on a registry, I'd buy it for someone else. If I was moving, or in an apartment, no brainer.I wish I could have gotten this earlier. I went from thinking this is "too good to be true" or feeling like an informercial type scam. It's not. It's the best example of technology in cooking that I can think of and makes me excited for what is possible in the future. These people clearly love food and I'm thankful for their passion and innovation!

LOVE me JUNE
I like to consider myself as a lover of good food and a baker. My new double oven broke again just before thanks giving (well the large oven - the small oven side still worked). And I dislike the quality of food from my microwave which was just taking up space in my kitchen. After asking around and reading reviews the June Oven seemed liked the obvious choice. Pricey I admit, - but it has an app right? Also Amazon could deliver to me next day! I had family making the long journey, so I made the purchase. Could my June Oven save ThanksGiving? - YES! And more than I could ever had imagined. Arrived perfectly packaged. Fit in the old microwave space beautifully. So easy to set up, and had the June connected with my iPad and phone within minutes. All rather impressive but how does it cook?AMAZING! Roasting? Perfect in every way, didn’t even need to turn the roast potatoes. Baking? Made a batch of warm sausage rolls for the kids to take to school this cold wet morning (the smell of warm baking made them get up early!) Muffins come out perfect in every way. Not once had 12/24 small batch items not all come out browned and even all round. I never deep fry - hello Air Fry. This is my new ‘thing’ with the June. I’m so excited to try new AirDry recipes. Just made crispy cauliflower and was so light, crunchy and crispy, like everything I’ve made - perfectly even all round. No over cooked on one side and undercooked the other. Reheat is the best. Takes twice as long as a microwave - eg. 4mins instead of 2, but the food comes out like its just been freshly cooked, no hard edges and soggy middles. Worth the extra 2 mins - don’t you think? Excited to try the ‘dehydrate’ mode this festive season. If i do not have a recipe in mind, I go straight for the June Oven cookbook. Me and my 7 year old made dinner together easily with the step by step cookbook app. (Masterchef junior look out!) And because he is cooking it - He’s eating it - yes everything. I’m also saving money on takeaways, as I am using the slow cooker option on my ‘crazy’ days. We now come home to warm chili’s and soups that taste sooooooo yummy (sorry instapot, you have a serious competitor) , which i can also manage on my app whist I’m out doing my chores!I now use the June oven as a timing base to all my cooking, especially dinners. ‘Me June’ is really the best. And yes ThanksGiving was saved. I had June and the original ‘small’ oven working side by sided, the June rocked it by far in comparison.Because the internal space of the oven is the same as a small oven and half the height, preheat takes no time at all. Fits 2 shelves easily. Though I personally like using just the one shelf, and cooking one tray at a time I do not loose time as the preheat is so quick and easy. Quick wipe down after use, even though it does have a self clean button. The interface on the oven is second to none. SO easy and simple to use. Updates regularly (and quickly) as far as I have seen. This really is a GREAT oven.

Everything we wanted and more!
What can I say, but "Wow". I'm a couple months into my ownership of this oven and I'm already blown away.If you live in a tiny-home, this thing is a no-brainer. My wife and I had previously been using a small toaster-oven and microwave in our tiny home. We're firm believers in "buy once, cry once", but in the case of the June oven, itwas more like "buy once".... that's it. Because the capabilities of this oven are so wide-ranging, that the price truly isn't unreasonable. When we first got our oven, I had moderately anticipated that we were paying the high-ish price for the food-recognition tech (which I was pretty excited to play with! It really works!), but after a few months, the novelty had worn off (although it is still extremely handy!) and I'm finding that I'm most impressed with the June ovens ability to spit out consistent delicious-ass food! I've attached some photos of the foods from the June-Cook-Book thing. The cooking is quick, easy, fun, and bomb-proof. The in-oven thermometer has been a first-class ticket to moist slow-cooked pork-chops as well as fresh loaves of bread (which I notoriously would overcook)...If I had anything "scathing" to say about the oven, it's this: the heat distribution from "front-to-back" heat distribution isn't perfect(although it's still very good!). For example, while cooking one of my new all-time-favorites, "Air-Fried Hot Wings", the wings in the back of the oven would crisp a bit quicker than those in the front. This is easily resolved by a little "flip-a-roony" of the plate, however.Buy this thing. For real. You won't be sorry!
