It's more than adequate for that temperature range and is comfortable with plenty of cushioning
I've taken this on a couple canyon camping trips in 40 to 50 degree F temp nights. It's more than adequate for that temperature range and is comfortable with plenty of cushioning.PROSIt's really big. I'm 5', 125 lbs and I have plenty of space and it would fit a 6' person easily. It comes with a ton of features including adjustable hood and neck, two strong velcro strips for the internal and external part of the bag at the neck, and a little zippered pouch on the inside chest for your valuables. It packs down to about a 6" by 12" into the case easily and you can use the compression straps to get it a smaller. Packing it down to a small size takes practice but you can definitely do it. It's pretty dense and hefty and will definitely keep you warm. The compression pack it comes is good quality and hasn't come close to ripping.CONSIt's kind of hefty so if you're thinking about getting a down sleeping bag for the weight and the warmth, you might want to go with that option. At this price point, though, this sleeping bag more than does the job. Packing, like I said before, can take a little practice. I don't think I was able to pack it down to the original size it came in.Overall, I really like this sleeping bag. It's kept me more than warm, is comfortable, is adjustable in the hood and neck, and has that really convenient pocket.

Fantastic bag for the money, but the stuff sack is too small.
I've used this bag now for over 2 months, and have very little to complain about.PROS:I have slept mostly in warm weather, but a few nights it was in the low 40's and I was plenty warm. I can imagine using this in 30 degree weather and being totally fine. It's very light, so it makes it great for backpacking.I have a perfect amount of room in it as a 6'3, 170lb man.CONS:The zipper feels a little cheap. It zips and unzips way too easily, therefore occasionally coming unzipped while you're sleeping (but only if it's not all the way to the top). Pretty much my only complaint about the sleeping bag so far.The COMPRESSION SACK is far too small! It came factory packed, and then the next time I went to pack the bag, I could hardly fit it.Every time I go to pack this it's a chore. The sack is too small, and the straps are far too short. They come out of the buckles every time. The bag is great and inexpensive, but the stuff sack will have to be replaced.

My second one. Love this bag!
I had one of these bags stolen along with some other gear like my favorite sleeping pad. So, I bought another of each.It allows me to sleep in a t-shirt at 40F on my sleeping pad. It's a very warm pad Exped Megamat LXW 10 pad rated R9.5, which I enthusiastically recommend because it's like sleeping on a heater, but still this thing is nice and will keep you warm if the rest of your gear is appropriate. It is 39F right now and so I am not exaggerating. I may have slept in a t-shirt at a slightly lower temperature as well. This bag packs very compact. I don't even bother with its stuff sack for daily use, but that makes it even more compact. It, along with my sleeping pad stows nicely in my seat storage compartment.

He really liked the sleeping bag and he said it kept him ...
I bought this Mummy sleeping bag for my husband to take on a camping trip. He really liked the sleeping bag and he said it kept him very warm. He used this camping at a high altitude in the fall season in West Virginia. He said that the material felt really nice and was able to sleep through the night. I asked him if he felt trapped in the mummy bag since it is so slender, but he said that it being slender kept him warm and not much air got in the bag. My husband is 5'10 and weights around 155lbs if that helps imagine the sleeping bag. He said he had plenty of room in and liked the hood at the top to cover his head to also help keep him warm. He was not able to get it folded back up really tight, but we are not everyday campers. I am sure if you know what you are doing you can get it folded up much neater than my husband.

nice cheap bag
For the price, this is a great bag.I bought this bag as a cheap warmer weather bag that I could use instead of my nicer Zero degree bag. For that purpose, it works great. I have a number of nights in it and I have been plenty warm under 40 degrees with base layers and a thermarest z lite sleeping pad. I is also comfortable at 60+ degrees. It feels pretty durable for a $35 dollar bag. My only complaint would be the zipper. It doesn't move as smoothly as higher dollar bags and can get stuck at times. It also packs down pretty small for how big of a bag it is. It's pretty wide for a mummy bag and I it is long enough for me and I'm 6'4"Overall a great cheap bag though I wouldn't take it below freezing.

Good sleeping bag
Good sleeping bag, compresses decently small. If you plan on sleeping in this in below 0 temps, bring a hot water bottle or your feet will get pretty cold.
