I bought 2 of this bird spikes from a plant shop and they were amazing, they came in individual boxes and saved the life of two of my Caladiums. So when I saw this on amazon and with the store closed because of the quarantine, I decided to buy more. The items were packed in paper, no individual boxes, no brand name (I wish I could remember the brand of the ones I bought at the plant store). Once you filled them with water, it would start dripping from the plastic borders, not from the terracota spike tip. It would empty right away on the soil. This is the equivalent to over watering. This items are knock offs that don’t work.

The little watering birds are cute and nicely decorate any potted plant. SAVE YOUR MONEY. It is cheaper to put a hole in the soil and pour water into it to water your plant. That is exactly what these little birdies do for you.

Love these little guys. They are more purple than blue but work great.
