4000 series LED-LCD TV

I have had this TV since 2015 and have had no problems at all. It has great picture and sound quality. My reason for buying a Phillips was the company's dedication to getting rid of toxics in all their products worldwide, not just in Europe, where RoHS requires it. I feel much better knowing my TV is less harmful to my indoor environment than others on the market. I know that some toxics will take time to phase out; however, I applaud Phillips for its strong efforts and hope this five star rating helps the company and consumers making decisions when buying electronics. By the way before buying this product, I did lots of research and called other popular TV manufacturers only to learn that "no" I could not buy one of their models listed as free of certain toxics in this country.

Nice TV. Hard to get hooked up to wifi. Was using it for a trade show setup. Wanted to transmit video from laptop via wireless connection. Was on phone with tech support for over hour. Gave up and bought HDMI cable. Too much trouble

Its a decent TV, it has small quirks. Netflix for example, I love that it autoplays the next episode with the built-in streamer, awesome! What I don't seem to understand is that sometimes the picture is just black but the sound processes. To get the picture back you have to go back to the Netflix episode selector screen and choose start from beginning. Another thing that drives me bonkers is that it's dreadfully unresponsive; click-(pause)-selected. The Target streaming app doesnt work at all, the App store that pushes the smart tvs extra capabilities is a laughable joke, there's about 15 ridiculously useless apps in the entire market. The TV is only smart because Netflix works, with the aforementioned issues above. I dont think I'll ever get a software update to improve the quality of it so all hope is lost, i'll give the tv to a family member.

Great TV. price was so low we expected to be ripped off. We have had this TV for about a year now and no complaints at all. I have always had Phillips TV's and have never had a issue. First phillips tv went 10 years before my little boy broke the screen with a Xbox controller.

Every thing is great except I couldn't hook up my wireless headset to it.

Great picture on my patio. Only challenge was chiseling thru stucco and building out with a Red Oak 2"x2" to attach the mount. (See my review of ML531BE TV Mount.

Picture and overall look of the TV was great. If you run the TV at the lowest settings it's great, but if you don't it has a constant electrical hum.Update: The electrical hum went away after a day so I'm happy with the purchase.
