I ordered this clock works set to replace an existing clock set that stopped working. It was easy to assemble and worked perfectly after installing on my old clock. The directions are well written and easy to follow. It comes with several different options for hour and minute hands so you can select the ones that are the correct length to for your clock. I also like that each hour and minute hand have one side that is black and the other side that is silver. So you can decide which color works best with the clock you are fixing. The only thing I didn’t like this product is the hook to hang the clock. It is designed to attach to the clock works on the back of the clock. I am not a fan of that design so I used my own hook to hang my clock.I would buy this product again as it keeps exact time and installation was easy.

This is a very well made product for a reasonable price. There are many sizes of clock hands and each has a particular type of attachment opening (circle or square) which must be assembled in a specific order to make the clock work. The directions are printed in very small type and are hard to read. I had to use a magnifying glass to make sense of it. Other than that the clock works well.

This clock kit was the perfect fit for repairing a clock I love. I was impressed by how many hand choices came with the kit. The shaft of the mechanism was the perfect length. I now have my beloved clock up and running. Thanks!

Awesome! Fixed an old company clock in the office that has not run in years. It was easy to replace the movement. Hang majestically on our breakroom wall. All I needed was needle nose pliers.You do need to measure the post and the hands to make sure you have the right one. Appears to keep the proper time.

Mixed feelings. Easy to install on my mother's beloved wooden Seth Thomas clock and kept perfect time but .. failed completely after only 7 months. Similar items from other suppliers all have similar ratings. I'll be ordering another with the hope that the next will last longer.

It took far too long to install the hour hand than was reasonable. It simply refused to go in straight. In desperation, I got it in as far as it would go, added the minute hand, then the decorative nut, hand-tightening it as much as possible. It's working beautifully again. Further, the hands are a tad too long for the clock but any port in a storm. If that really mattered, I could just cut off the arrow points as they're made of very thin sheet metal. Glad I chose this to replace the mechanism that came with the clock but that had worn itself out.
