I bought this dining bench originally for extra seating, but I ended up using it as a unique flower display in my sunroom—and it’s absolutely perfect! These benches were easy to assemble. It took my daughter and I about 15minutes to assemble the pair (but frankly we just glanced at the directions). Don’t over tighten the screws, because we had to loosen a few up when the hole alignment was a tad off. It looks like real wood and it looks good for my plants to sit on. So it’s super sturdy for plants and worth the money I spent. I can’t comment if it would be sturdy for people.

Looks exactly like picture, sturdy, easy to assemble and the price is great. I brought these benches for the table that resembles them which created a beautiful look.

UPDATE it’s 2025 it’s been 5 years since I put the bench on my porch and it’s still holding up!! It has gotten wet with rain , sleet, snow wind covered in leaves yep it’s been in nature and it still looking pretty darn good! The bottom of the bench could use a little touch up of paint here and there but it’s been out there for 5 years taking a beating, in the Chicago burbs. I’m so happy with it I had it let ya know if you are looking for this type of thing if it’s even still available it’s been awhile! Go for it! Oh and this spring I brought the other one in and put it together and placed it in my Art room perfect! No need for a swap yetI love these benches I bought them because I was looking for a bench to put on my front porch, it is covered from the weather so I thought I would give it a try and for the price I could always replace it with the second one if the first one didn't hold up after a long time.1 also thought of applying a water proof sealer for added protection and may do that. It has gotten wet in a heavy rain storm and I just took a squeegee to the top of it and it did a great job of getting the water off the. So it is outin cold Chicago weather now so time will tell? But I love having a place for packages to be placed instead of just being put on the ground. In the wet dirty, snow or whatever.

Bought 2, and will buy 4 more to put around the house.Easy to put together, simplistic rustic looking.Also will get the same looking TV stand.
