2nd Bottle worked well - great customer support
Review Update - The company reached out to me after reading my review offering to help, they provided me with support and advice, even replacing the bottle of Easihold that i had received. I resprayed the path again according to the instructions and this time all appears well! The gravel has held much better on this occasion, whilst some areas are still a little loose underfoot the majority of the path is now rock solid. I will leave a few more days and re-spray the loose under foot sections. As a result i am much happier with the finished result - time will tell how long it lasts, however you can not fault the customer care from this company, they were quick and responsive offering solutions and support. 5 star service! We have a small gravel path that leads from our decking to the rear of the garden, inlayed with 600x600 slabs. I was fed up with the gravel being kicked around and ending up on the slab path so i looked for solutions. I ordered this product as it looked like it could solve my problem! You get a decent 5l bottle of what i would describe as watered down PVA glue. I followed the instructions to the letter, a liberal spraying, rake, spray again, leave 36hrs and spray again. Initially i was very pleased with the result, the stones seemed to bond well - however around 6 days later we had rain... and this seemed to destroy the bond between the stones - the majority of my path is now loose again! My stones are all under 20mm and the depth is within the range of application. Surely a bit of rain shouldn't destroy the bond?!

Expensive but effective
Short review: expensive for what it is. I needed to apply two coats. But it does seem to work where other products have failed.Detailed review: we have decorative gravel borders at the front of the house. Unfortunately neighbours’ cats use this area as an extended litter tray. I am out there every few days scraping the stuff up and it isn’t a pleasant task. Plus I have had to throw away more and more of the gravel over time. I tried numerous cat repellent products, none of it worked, even the ‘extra strength’ compound that smelt nearly as bad as the stuff it was supposed to prevent.Because I’d had to throw so much gravel away, I had it all relaid and was determined not to go through the same cycle again so tried the Vuba solution.Firstly, I think this is very expensive for what it is. A 5 litre drum costs £50, I bet it doesn’t cost them anything like £10 a litre to manufacture. It comes ready to apply, no need to dilute it or anything like that. I used a simple hand-pump garden sprayer to apply, followed the instructions, it was easy to use. No nasty solvent/chemical smell and it was easy to wash off my hands afterwards. Applied first coat in dry conditions, waited 24 hours, it didn’t seem to completely hold, some of the gravel was still loose (this may be because the gravel borders are deep in places). Gave it a second application, waited another 24 hours and this seemed to do it, really strong hold on the shingle this time. It dries with a nice sort of matt varnish effect. It has now been down for a week and it has done the trick, it has bonded the shingle so we’ll that it is solid and now can’t be dug up by the cats and there has not been any mess at all to clear up. Just what I was after. It only remains to be seen how long it lasts when exposed to weather over the course of the year (not sure how it will hold up to baking sun, rain, frost etc but we will see).

Vuba Easihold – Keeps Decorative Stones in Place and Out of the Pool
This has been a great product for solving a very specific but persistent problem in our garden. My autistic daughter loves throwing stones into the pool, and it was getting tricky to manage. I needed a solution that would keep the stones where they belonged without turning the area into a concrete slab, and Easihold has delivered. It’s incredibly easy to apply. I used it on stones that are technically larger than the manufacturer recommends, but after a couple of coats and some pressure with the foot as I went, they’re now held firmly in place. The trick is to tamp them down as you apply, to make sure they bond well with the product. It’s not messy, it dries fairly quickly depending on the weather, and it doesn’t leave a noticeable sheen or change the colour of the stones much. This means it works well aesthetically too.Highly recommended if you're looking for an easy way to stabilise loose stones, especially in areas where kids might be tempted to throw or move them around.

Works well, stuck my stones really well. Happy customer!!
The media could not be loaded. Amazing product when you get a good knack going.I used it for a little border area next to my patio slabs as I have a dog and she likes to dig, lol!The way I used it was -1. Mix a bowl of stones with some of the "glue" until they are all covered and then spoon the covered stones into a thin layer to the area you want them - but don't pour any of the liquid on top, just the covered stones.2. Wait an hour and add another thin layer if needed. Repeat this step until you have the depth you want.3. Wait an hour then spray a layer of liquid over the whole area.4. Every couple of hours spray the area again with the liquid - 3-4 times.5. Wait about 12 hours and it's done.

Good but very expensive
Why did you choose this product over others?:Good product but only giving it three stars as it is very expensive. It has a similar consistency to milk so it is a must to use a fine sprayer pressure bottle and to apply it in warm weather (summer time). Otherwise, you will spend a massive amount. With the sprayer a single coat (1 x 5L bottle) covered 3mx3m= 9m2. You will need three coats. I applied it initially in colder weather and it did not work. For 9m2 I have used in total 7 bottles, although with 3 bottles it could do if applied in summer and with a sprayer.I have tried to replicate the product cheaper using SBR bond 5L bottle mixed 1/1 with water and I got acceptable results, but not as solid. However, that was much cheaper.I am a bit concerned that there is not a chemical composition of the product in the bottle. How can we be sure it is safe to use long term as it is possible to breath some in while spraying it?We will see how it last through the seasons.
