Great shoe but leather stretches
This is the third pair we've bought for my husband as they're worn out over time. He loves the style and flexibility of outfit pairing with these. First pair was size 14, they were big and stretched too much. Second pair was 13, closer to a better fit but ended up stretching too much again. This time I bought him a size 12 W. They are snug indeed but he plans to follow the break-in instructions to mould them to his feet. Hopefully these are the right size so they're not some flippy floppy over time

Comfortable boat shoe that can be worn all day long!
My previous pair of "Boat Shoes" which I purchased more than 10 years ago had finally lost their battle with life. They served me well and were my favorite pair of shoes to just slip on and go. So when it came to replacing them I had many doubts. One - the brand that I had previously purchased seems to be almost impossible to find these days. Two - they don't seem to make quality shoes anymore... sad. So my search went on. I visited local shops and looked at every brand I could. None of them seemed to match what I had until I found the Sperry Top-Sider. Not only was the style almost identical, but the quality was very much present! None of my local shops had the color style I wanted, so I jumped on trusty Amazon and found the exact color and style I wanted.Usually I have to break these types of shoes in before I go barefoot... with these, I wore socks with them for one day and in a rush forgot about them being new and jumped into them barefoot on day 2. Wore them all day and did not have any problems. The leather didn't bleed at all onto my feet and the feel was perfect. I wore them all day without any issues. The next day I drove for almost 8 hours in them and they were so comfortable that I never had to adjust my feet to remain comfortable. I can't say that for many shoes and the heels seem to stick out too far and cause a weird ankle position that isn't comfortable for driving. These were just perfect.I then wore them on a week long beach vacation and found them to be the right shoe for the task. Great quality, great durability (so far) and very comfortable!

Great find!
We’ve been looking for this style for a while now, not sure if it’s discontinued. Either way, we are happy to have found it, the right fit

These shoes are ideal for me because I love comfortable shoes
Authentic Black and Brown Sperry Top-Sider Size 10I ordered these shoes about two weeks ago, and received them within five days. These shoes are ideal for me because I love comfortable shoes. Expect these shoes to fit a little tight to your feet within the first few days. You may get a few blisters on the back of your feet while they are forming to the shape of your foot. With these shoes you don't even have to wear socks and knowing how lazy I am, these slip on shoes are perfect. I would say they are also ideal for college students who don’t like doing laundry, because there is no need to wash socks after wearing these Sperry’s. Not having to wear socks can cause some shoes to smell really awful after a while. But with the way these shoes breathe, the shoes expel whatever nasty things may have accumulated inside them. They are known as "boat shoes" because of their ability to stick the deck of a boat. That being said these shoes are extremely water proof and when it rains I still have good traction to the sidewalk. Not only are these shoes very resistant to water, they look FANTASTIC. You can wear them while doing both casual and formal activities. For example, I'm currently enrolled as a college student and I wear these to class all the time knowing that I could easily go home and make these shoes go well with a suit. I love the brand Sperry because there shoes look as good as some high-end dress shoes, but they are leaps and bounds cheaper. For these shoes you pay a little over one hundred dollars, while other brands charge nearly three times the price. Being a college student if I can save two hundred dollars and still like the shoes, that's a big deal for me. I would not recommend wearing them while driving though because they will crease where your foot bends to push the pedal. That is the only negative thing I can think of, because with the price you are paying they should not be creasing so easily. I would recommend buying these shoes 9 out of 10 times. Like I said before the only down side to these shoes is that they crease if you bend them. Besides that, these shoes are a must buy.

Perfect Fit.
Comfortable, stylish, and versatile. These Sperry boat shoes fit true to size and break in quickly. The leather feels high quality, and the non-slip sole makes them perfect for both casual wear and being out on the water. A classic shoe that never goes out of style.

Sole fell off in 3 months, miss my Dockers so much.
I have had Rockport Perth topsiders boat shoes for decades, and was so sad to see them discontinued. They last years and years. I bought these to hopefully replace the discontinued line of Rockport, when they arrive the first thing I noticed was the holes in the foot bottom material that you feel on your bare feet. Why the heck did they not make the inside bottom of the shoe (where your foot hits) flat? Terrible decision. The second thing I noticed was the much flimsier leather, although that might be a good thing if only they held up.I figured I would get used to the bottoms so I kept them. They are harder to slip on and off than the Perths because the heel leather collapses when you put in your foot, so that’s annoying. But okay, I will deal with it.But the unforgivable failure was when the front of the shoe sole tore away from the rest of the shoe in ONLY 3 MONTHS. What a total waste!! Again, I have only worn these around town and at home. Nothing different than the past with Dockers that literally lasted 5-10 years. 3 months, what a sham.
