I really enjoy this scrub! I was looking for a scrub that was gentle as my skin has been very sensitive and reactive of late. This is perfect- fresh, woodsy smell, and it is gentle enough to not hurt my skin while still properly exfoliating. I have noticed my skin feels smoother and healthier after. It has a good set of oils that don't strip but make my skin feel good. Much better than drugstore options. I use every other day, have had this for 5 months, and still have plenty. A little goes a long way; the price is worth it. 5 stars!

So, I changed to this product because it is all natural, and it's mindful of how it impacts the planet. I've been using this product once a week, sometimes twice, for about a month. As an exfoliant I find that it isn't consistent with each use. The liquid soap suspension is thinner than most exfoliants out there, and there doesn't seem to be enough exfoliating beads in a typical "dab" of product. So, sometimes I get enough beads and other times I have to squirt out more. The beads are smooth and don't feel like they are scrubbing anything away, but afterward I can feel and see that it has. The liquid soap suspension has a light earthy scent to it. Nothing offensive and goes away in 10 minutes. After the first use, I thought the soap didn't do anything because my face felt oily/tacky. However, I believe the soap has some moisturizers in it. My face was actually moisturized and hydrated, not greasy. When I shave, the razor doesn't seem to drag. I've also noticed a slight reduction in pore size, so I believe it's cleaning deep in those oily pores. I do wish there were more beads, and that the suspension was a little thicker.

Great for sensitive skin! I love how soft my face is after washing with this face scrub and it seems to be helping with my dry skin areas also. I really value the clean ingredients as well.

Hubby is very fussy about products. He loves this facewash. It smells great. It works good without drying your skin. I’m not as sold on it. To me my face feels oily till it dries after the shower. I also wash my face in the sink alot and wouldnt recommend this for that type (in the shower is better). But, that all being said, it is a good face wash and it doesnt strip like so many others do. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Overall I felt like the product itself was good. I use facial scrubs pretty regularly and I liked this product for the fact that the grit was made out of natural products versus little bits of plastic that other products use. The grit/scrub was a good balance of scrubby without being scratchy. I'm not in love with the scent although I think that is just personal preference. It didn't smell bad, just not something I would choose. I think it was the clove smell that was dominant that didn't float my boat. I'm more of a light scent and usually like Lavender type scents. The one main complaint I have is the packaging and dispensing. For some reason it is hard to squeeze out of the tube sometimes. It almost seems like it gets clogged and then I squeeze harder and then 2-3 uses squirts out. This has happens about every third use and the dispensing is getting harder as I get near the end of the tube.

I keep a tube in the shower and work a penny-shaped squeeze of the exfoliant into my face 2-3 times a week. The exfoliating beads are made from walnut shells and do a great job helping me slough any dead skin away. I am bald (so I have an extremely large forehead ! ). I use the exfoliant on the top of my head in order to keep that skin smooth and clean. I can tell that my head is clean as it sweats more freely after usage as there are no blockages in the way :-) I enjoy the Thrive scent which reminds me of licorice or aniseed. The smell is quite strong when using the exfoliant but does dissipate quickly. The microbeads clear without being overly aggressive and you control the depth of the clean. Don't use it more than 3 times a week as whilst relatively gentle it is still an abrasive cleanser. A little goes a long way. Once I have exfoliated I finish with Thrive Cleansing Facial Gel which helps to moisturise and leaves my skin feeling very clean, fresh and happy! The price for a 3 pack of Thrive exfoliant is great value, saving $3 on each tube. If you're not sure try a single tube...you won't regret it ! Recommended

Honestly I like this scrub. It's very light. The scent could be a little better, and there isn't alot of exfoliant inside which is good if you want to use it as a daily wash. I wanted it more of a weekly deep scrub but I'll just use it daily instead. I really prefer creamier, more exfoliant filled scrubs but I like that it's natural and there is no extreme perfume chemical scent like in most non natural face scrubs.
