Not Worth It - Keep the Echo (or get a Sub)
Waited months for this to arrive and was hopeful that it would add the bass and warmth that the Echo sometimes lacks. However, the Studio does not produce bass at lower volumes (vol 4 and lower). You have to crank the Studio to hear its benefits and we just don't listen to our music that above vol 6 very often. Also, the voice recognition is awful. Alexa doesn't perform as good as the Echo and in a lot of cases she said she could not perform that task at all.Audio enhancement comes activated from the factory and makes it sound thin. Use the alexa app and turn it off.Cons:- Cost- It is Big and Dark- Either the mics or Alexa don't work well- Bass only noticeable at high volumes- The audio enhancement setting that is activated at the factory is terrible (turn it off immediately)Pro:- Can get really loud

How awesome do you want your sound to be??
Sure it's not the top fo the line, but this little smart speaker really packs a punch. I added in my living room to two Alexa speakers with subs and now the neighbors down the street are complaining about my music!! Really though, this Studio is way more bang for the buck than even my Bose system!! I hope you live farther away from your neighbors than I do. A++++

Great Sound for the $
I really am enjoying my Echo Studio. I have never owned any electronic device that I could speak to and it would play my requested song. I know that many of you would find that to be funny but I'm an old guy and have not kept updated on the new electronics. So I just wanted to say that My Echo is great for listening to my favorite songs around the house. It is perfect for the size room I'm in and I am not dissatisfied with it's quality of sound. I'm also pleasantly surprised by all the music I'm able to play and that alone was worth the purchase.

Ok, not great
This just doesn't sound as good as I was hoping. I have a Sonos one, a Bose SoundLink, and a Creative Katanax sound bar, all of which sound significantly better then the Studio for a similar or better price. It definitely does sound better then the tall echo that I also have, but not substantially. Overall just a pretty big let down, we kept it because it does get louder then the one it replaced, but really should have probably returned it.

Beyond Impressed! Actually I’m mind boggled 🔊 🎶...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Already owned 1 and Echo Subwoofer and on Prime day decided to add another to sync all 3 together to my Fire Stick 4K and for playing Amazon Unlimited HD 3D Music and all’s I can say is OMG.. Having 2 Echo Studios and a Echo Subwoofer is something else! Actually watching movies from your 4K Fire Stick sounds better than iMax in my opinion. The acoustics in my place are perfect for the bass and the 3D Audio. These 🔊 🔊 slap 👋 hard and sound unlike anything I’ve ever heard! Worth every penny! Thank you Amazon!

I’m super happy right now.
Clean sound. Easy to configure. Bass is best if you locate closer to a wall or better yet in a corner. Give it time for the speakers to break in.

Great sound at a reasonable price.
I've had the first and 2nd gen Echo, which I use to control my media center with the Logitech Harmony Hub. The Echos has always done their job, but the sound was always lacking when playing music. Hooked the Echo Studio up this weekend and the sound is, so much better than before. Fills our Kitchen / Living Room areas with great sound and we will definitely be putting it to use during the holidays. If you can find space for this speaker, which is a little larger than competitors, I'd definitely recommend it.

Echo seems to sound MUCH better!
My new Echo seems to have a much better sound than this more expensive Echo STUDIO. It should not be.... but it is! I am undecided as to whether to return it or not at this point. The new Echo amazed me with its' sound... and I do like the blue ball look (the room walls are blue- bedroom). I am going to try a few things yet-- putting it somewhere else in the room..... adjusting settings. However--- I just plugged in the Echo and did nothing to it to get amazing sound... clear highs and good bass. Much better than my old first Echo.
