Got this on sale and wasn't sure how it would ...
Got this on sale and wasn't sure how it would work. I got to try it out this week. It definitely works well on larger fish and keeps you clear of teeth. I got to release a couple of smaller sharks and large catfish using it. It is a little more difficult to use on smaller fish, but I found using circle hooks to keep from having to go in the mouth helped a lot and made it much easier to grasp the hook outside the fish's mouth.

Very handy
Brought one of these for each boat on our Fly-In Canada fishing trip and they worked great for my inexperienced group in removing deep hooks and in particular, removing hooks from Pike. Effectively kept our fingers away from the hooks of thrashing pike.

Hook Remover
Haven use the tool as of yet, but I like the construction of it and it was exactly what I was looking for, I will find out on the 1st of July when I do a little Fluke fishing.

Great for Northern PIke!
I purchased these to take the hooks out of the Northern Pikes long snout! They work!

Like to stick it up through the gills on bass ...
It works, will put a tight grip on the hooks when using to remove. Like to stick it up through the gills on bass and push up to help get the hooks out when they swallow them and help make the fish has minimum damage.

I've been fishing for years and have used many different tools to unhook fish. Before my annual fishing trip in northern Quebec, I bought this hook remover to give it a try.It's operation is easy and flawless.
