I’ve torn the fhl ligament in my foot. My podiatrist initially taped it to keep the big toe joint in place but I bought this as extra security. It’s worked brilliantly, very comfy and washable too. Enables me to walk fairly pain free without limping. I wear it all day and take it off at night. I did need to get some slightly bigger shoes though to accommodate it. Went back to see the podiatrist and she was happy with it and thought it was doing a good job.

This bunion-corrector / toe-straightener was just what I was looking for. The pack contains a left-foot and a right-foot big toe re-positioning harness and a couple of 'gel' toe separators to help push the big toe outwards. I cannot say whether it helps with the pain, as my bunions aren't painful (expcept for where they rub). They are reasonably comfortable to wear, but after a while I found that the re-alignment of my toe was painful in itself. I am persevering. It is not possible to wear the full harness in normal shoes as it makes the foot too wide and bulky, but I can wear the gel separator in shoes and socks. The harness was easy to fit and adjust. The toe separator I found more comfortable to wear on my 2nd toe rather than looped round the big toe. Although more comfortable to wear than the harness, I'm not sure the gel separators do much. The harness does correct the toe position whilst being worn, but I don't know that it permanently corrects it.

It’s actually hard to find a set of these that don’t really painfully dig in to your feet. They cannot prevent or reverse over-pronation and/or bunions, but they are great for when you are string to sleep and your feet are really hurting because of this problem. I’ve used them for a long time and these are some of the better models I’ve purchased.

i ordered the Pair of Adjustable Bunion Splints and 2 Pack Gel Toe Separators. only just received them so cannot comment on pain relief. I can say though that having just tried them on, both splint and seperators feel comfy. bound to feel slightly annoying because my toes have never had these things on them before in their life, so will take a bit of getting used to having something around the toe but really don't feel that bad and do not hurt, just slightly annoying. will definitely be using them and can see that they could do the job i want. Hard for me to bend to put them on but that is me and nothing to do with how good the product is itself

I suffer from contrast sensitivity. This means I cannot see differences between similar colours such as black on black which is how your product is designed. It also does not have instructions on how to use them and since I live alone this is going to cause problems. You are of course not alone in thinking that you donot d need to do anything to make something accessible so I won’t bother to send it back but rest assured I will tell anyone else who might be affected that this is not a suitable product for someone who is sight impaired.

I bought these because I was having quite severe pain in my second toe where my big toe presses into it (due to big toe bunion). I had tried all forms of toe spacers and silicone bunion cushions with no relief. All that I wanted and expected from this product was to release the pressure and pain from my toes rubbing together.I am thrilled that not only did I get the relief that I needed, but with daily use my big toe is actually a little straighter. I have more movement in that toe too and am able to stretch it out for better balance in my yoga practice. I'm not saying it has cured my bunion, I still have a sizable bunion lump, but the pain relief and the new movement in the toe is a very sound result.The splints are well made from a very comfortable but strong foam. Velcro fastenings mean that you can tighten or loosen to match the shape of your foot easily and comfortably. I don't wear mine for bed, I wear them intermittently throughout the day (I've been working from home during lockdown).I am a very glad that I found this product.

This product has a velcro strip to cover the toe this strip is roughly connected to the unit by a crimped connector which when worn can dig into your other toe also the edge of the toe piece digs in in between the big and second toe.. i have cut the velcro strip off the toe strap to get rid of the crimped peice and used a lighly fitted wide elastic band in its place also cut around the piece where it rubs between the toes..a lot better now ill see if it works
