Works for my athletes foot
I've had athlete's foot my whole life but it was mild and I never really bothered with it. I started getting into shape and the condition of my feet, being in gym shoes, became too much. I bought one tube of name brand, and while it worked, was too expensive to keep going. I found this product and it worked just as effectively. The only difference is a weird smell, but that dissipates. And I think its worth it for the price and effectiveness. My feet were extremely flaky, itchy, and oddly both moist and dry. I applied this product twice a day for 1 week and my feet were completely comfortable. Creepy, but I even got a few compliments on having nice feet.

What Does Southwest Florida Have In Common With Vietnam?
The answer is constant heat and humidity. When I finally went to see my podiatrist for treatment of my toenail fungus he asked me if I ever went to Vietnam. Fortunately I had a 4F (physical) deferment and never made that trip. My hat is off to anyone who did. I was destined to go because the very first draft lottery matching my birth date came up as number 30 -- guaranteed to go!Since our family has always served in the military, I read a lot of books about Vietnam and the various hazards encountered there. One of the biggest constant problems was proper care and protection of everyone's feet. The jungle was hot, wet, and humid, and combat boots were the choice for protective wear. Unfortunately your feet didn't breathe well in combat boots and clean socks were almost nonexistent. The result was persistent athlete's foot which was commonly called "jungle rot".Southwest Florida has the same climate as Vietnam and I also choose to wear combat boots when working outside. I have structurally weak ankles (hence the 4F deferment) and have already suffered through two osteotomies. In addition we have several varieties of biting insects, poisonous snakes, and plants that seem to exist just to hurt you. Wearing good boots is very important. So my podiatrist informed me that not only did I have toenail fungus, but the fungus had also progressed up the bottom and sides of both feet. Rather than buy his $82.00 package of nonprescription fungus treatment, I elected to order this Clotrimazole, virtually the same medicine we used as kids when we played basketball in high top tennis shoes. Yes you have to follow the directions and yes, it takes quite a while for the medicine to work, but work it does (slowly) as long as you follow the treatment directions. And it's a lot cheaper than $82.00.

Great stuff! Just like the real Expensive stuff.
Great stuff! Just like the expensive stuff. Not like that cheap runny stuff made in India. I buy this stuff all the time. Highly recommend.

My Theory Why It's so Cheap
My theory is that this is the real thing. It's the same as the much more expensive single ones you can buy in a store, with one slight difference: they've been batched into sets of five when they have less than 3 years of shelf life left.I think the individual ones in the store are the most recently produced and have a longer shelf-life (five years to expiration or so). When unsold (rather, undelivered to stores) and there is less than three years to the expiration date, they batch them into these sets of five.I have bought these sets of five twice now, and both times they had about 2.5 years left to the expiration date. This works for me because at the beginning of every summer I apply this to my feet twice daily for a stretch of four weeks. I do this prophylactically to prevent extreme dry skin on my feet, which I used to have and a clever doctor happened to notice who then pointed out to me it was the result of a fungus. At the end of the four weeks, my feet have baby skin. It's fantastic. It prevents all types of cracking and peeling for the rest of the year. I have been doing this for six years now. It works every time, and I have never had a negative side-effect such as rashes. To save money, I started buying these packs of five.People who experience rashes may have been applying it too thickly. You only need to apply a thin layer twice daily. Wash your feet first, dry them thoroughly, and then apply a thin layer. So, if you don't need much of this, buy a single one. You're paying more, but it will have an expiration date farther away. If you go through them before the expiration date is an issue, like I do, buy these sets and save yourself a lot of money.
