Kaneyama Seaweed Wrappers for Triangular "Onigiri" Rice Ball Starter Kits (20 Sheets with Mold)

This set is great for onigiri beginners! I purchased this particular item because of the rice mold, which is easy to use, easy to clean, and makes onigiri a breeze, the nori sheets included are fairly decent as well, while they don't have as much flavour as some brands, they're definitely tasty. For the price point, the pack is kind of expensive, but for someone like me who doesn't live super close to an Asian grocery, it's a good deal! The wrappers take some getting used to, but they're great as size guide to cut your own nori in the future. Since purchasing this pack, my partner and I have had loads of fun experimenting with different fillings and flavour combos! I highly recommend this pack!

Our local boba sells fresh made onigiri and we were trying to replicate it. Making onigiri by hand without a mold is an art and very messy. This kit is awesome! Between pressure cooking the rice and throwing spam in the toaster oven, we were able to make onigiri just like we buy in under 30 minutes. The nori stays perfectly crunchy right until you eat it, and the mold is so easy to use, the rice just slides right out. You can make your rice balls as thick or thin as you want. Packaging and stickers were really cute as well. Pro tip, sprinkle your onigiri with furikake seasoning :)

These are so convenient! I made these for a picnic and it was the perfect meal on the go. The seaweed stays nice and crisp due to the plastic wrapping. I would say it's pretty simple looking at the picture instructions. I really love that the mold is super nonstick so the rice does not stick to it whatsoever.

This is so great and I truly missed Onigiri from Conbini (convenience store)in Japan. I can put whatever I want inside. Great for picnic, lunch and party! Just one thing I didn't like was the sticker. Stickers were not same as pics on the backside of the package. These were rectangular with 4 cuts but not completely. I cut them into 4 tiny rectangularso and put on. However it came off easily so I ended up using nomal tape.

I still prefer to hand roll my rice but when im trying to make things look perfect i will use the mold. The nori wraps are nice and taste fine. Its great for if you want to pre make some riceballs for work or an outing

The rice ball mold comes with the seaweed wrapper was very useful. Instruction was clear and the wrapper was easy to use. The seaweed was crispy when it's ready to eat. It was much more affordable than buying riceball from markets.
