Great Product for the Daily Woodworker
What can I say? This is a great product at a decent price. It goes on smooth and brings my chisels edges to a razor-sharp mirrored finish. One bar seems to last me forever, even using it almost daily. Just remember to make a specific spot for it near your strop, because if your shop is anything like mine it can be easily lost. I actually keep mine in a plastic tube on a cord hanging behind the strop (haven't lost one since).

Works well
A little pricey but should last for quite a while. Seems the best way to apply is to warm your strop with a heat gun and then apply. Worked well at putting a razor edge on my carving tools.

If you actually need 10,000+ grit compound…. Here’s a good one
Puts the final touches on a sushi knife, razors, or fine woodworking tool. Don’t buy this thinking it will fix a chip or a Meaning ful till in the edge, this is ultra fine and only really useful for those that have other abrasives to take their edges up to about 10k grit before this. Not for beginners since they won’t understand how subtle this compound is but an excellent tool for an expert or aspiring expert sharpener that has a large array of options already. Small bar, but again, it’s not for large jobs so you don’t need a lot and all fine grit abrasives are more than their coarse counterparts on average. I would suggest DLT trading for 6000 and 12000 grit before this if you are looking for coarser stuff that still gives you an edge you can easily shave with. For 3000 grit DLT or beavercraft are excellent.

Value For Money
Works perfectly with my Hutsuls leather strop which is available here on Amazon. Large size for the money. I use a hair dryer on low setting to heat the strop before applying. It goes on easier and more evenly. Highly recommended.
