Philips Sonicare

The toothbrush works fine but it was sent with a charger with the wrong plug for the UK.

Comes with US plug and a 3 pin adapter - it is against building regs to have 3 pin socket in the bathroom and cabinets only come with 2 pin sockets- Why are these half wits allowed to sell on amazon

Still no response from seller re returning these items, they are not UK compatible unless you buy a plug for UK sockets. Useless

While I am a minimalist, I don't hesitate to purchase items that improve my quality of life. This is indeed one of the big upgrades from my average toothbrush. Since I started using this, My gum never bleed again during brush, the tartar built up actually got destroyed by the vibrations, and my oral hygiene is just so much cleaner. Lastly, I heard the Oral-B brush is slightly better in terms of functionality, but Sonicare brush just look so much better in terms of aesthetic. 100% would recommend (And I did during my work's standup meeting)

I don't typically leave reviews but thought I should comment on the Philips Sonicare Protective Clean 5100 Electric Toothbrush for the benefit of those who might be considering purchasing this. I got this in April 2021 and it worked fine for 9 months; Then in January this year, it started making really loud, jarring noises when brushing, probably due to the shaft having come loose; the shaft was so loose it made it impossible to use the toothbrush as it kept moving around. In contrast, I've owned a few Oral B electric toothbrushes (even the basic models) and they've all lasted for years before the battery dies. So not sure if this is a defective batch or whatever, but there's definitely a quality control issue here and I definitely wouldn't recommend this model.

This doesn’t come with a usb charger. Only an American plug which for us in Singapore is not going to work.
