Gear Shift Console Storage Box

They fit perfect and give you just enough extra storage you need in a Jeep. The sticky stuff doesn’t stick very well and neither does anything else I tried like Gorilla glue sticky pads or Goop etc. I don’t know what Jeep made the console out of but nothing sticks to it. So I just drilled a tiny hole in both and put one screw in each and they work like a champ. Love them!!

I love the concept of these storage bins. The passenger side one works great as it fits around the 4 wheel drive gear shift. It has never come loose. The passenger side does not wrap around anything and only sticks to the inside console . It keeps falling off. I'm going to re-clean it and add additional 3M tape and hopefully I can get it to stick. Don't let this stop you from buying them. It's a really good idea to have them.

Storage options are very limited in the Jeep Wrangler and the door nets are kind of stupid. So any additional storage option is worth looking at. I bought these thinking that they would be an easy addition, within reach, and large enough to hold a phone and other items. The problem is the adhesion. The extruded plastic bins are not 100% formed and the layer of adhesive is very thin. Unless, you spent 30 minutes pushing against the insides and hoping the adhesive will bite, you will find out, as I did, that the holders just fall off when you least expect it. I do still like the storage option but the adhesive layer must be thickened to be able to bite to the mounting surface. I solved the problem with 2-sided tape. Of course, this is an additional expense that I did not plan for.

Installed very easily. Added a few more areas of storage for my Jeep for phone....keys...credit cards, etc. Good quality product. Only downfall is the passenger side one did not stick on well. I just boosted it with a little double backed tape and it has been perfect! 100% would recommend!!

Save your money if you use the product as is. The adhesion strips are too narrow to adequately adhere to each side of the console. You will need to buy additional 3M two sided tape to make it work. Both the console and the storage bins are plastic not vinyl, so they are NOT flexible like vinyl. The driver side is better because it fits over the 4WD lever assembly. The passenger side needs to be taped up better and then held up against the console by a heavy weighted object and parked in the sun all day to have a chance for proper adhesion. Be sure and use alcohol to clean the console area first. My recommendation is to attach the additional 2 sided tape to the console first, remove the adhesive strip, then attach the plastic bin to the console for maximum adhesion. Without adhesion success, this product is just expands your life experience but does not give you extra space.

You would not think something so small could make such a difference. But if you own a Jeep you know there is no place to put anything. So any little tidbit of space is precious. I’ve had these on about a week and I had absolutely no problem with them staying on. They were easy to attach. I have a 2018 Wrangler JL with a stick shift. They fit perfectly. I am a short little woman and I have to push the seat up all the way to reach the clutch, and I have no problem with them being in the way of the seat. They are great for small items that you would like to have close by. In mine I have Chapstick, small bottle of sanitizer, couple of pens, some business cards, nail clipper etc. I also use it for storing my work badge when I am not at work. If you need space in your Jeep for tiny things, I say go ahead and buy these!

I was excited when I saw these because of the limited storage for phone, hand sanitizer,etc in my new Jeep. The drivers side one is awesome because it fits over the 4 wheel drive shifter. The passenger side ones not so much. It comes which a peel off adhesive, but the minute I put something in it fell off. I tried it a couple time even going as far as to buy my own double sided tape but it still fell off. So I am disappointed. I will probably keep because like I said I like having the one on the drivers side and that is why I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1.

Love the additional storage. The passenger side didn’t stick as well as the first so I Re-taped it with the included extra tape, and then heated it up with a hair dryer before I stuck it onto the console. Remember, clean/wipe of the console to removed excess oil (armoral). Once I used the blow dryer, the passenger side storage is securely fit. Id post pictures but this review is not allowing me to

Great Product

I Just received it and I'm extremely happy about it, just point to the supplier to be mentioned. The right one doesn't stick and slide bigger as you have to put the passenger seat back almost to the end, if you have baby chair like mine it will make a huge issue!
