Great semi-basic Information
Overall really good book. A bit repetitive sometimes, but nonetheless great! Very good info on all on title of book. Does not get to crazy or hard to read. Very good for someone trying to learn the basics and go from there with more detailed books perhaps. Has all the basics covered. Heavy focus on tires and their set up.Very pleased

The Best Suspension Guide for Track Cars I've seen.
Extremely thorough book that teaches theory and provides must have practical advice. I am a mechanical engineer but you don't have to be one to get tremendous value from this book if you have any plans to adjust your performance tires and suspension. You need the knowledge from this book, a digital tire contact type pyrometer and an accurate tire gauge before you can tune your tires and suspension for the track. I like this so much I'm going to buy one for a friend of mine.

Excellent but still left me with some points of confusion
Excellent but still left me with some points of confusion. Sometimes there is not enough depth in some of the fundamentals or a lack of practical examples. Still a worthy read for beginners, but I'll be looking into some additional material to fill some gaps or maybe even have the same concepts explained differently.

Best Suspension & Handling Book I've Ever Read
I'mma retired mechanical engineer and former racer. This is the very best book I've ever read on suspension and handling. It gave me insights that my ME curriculum didn't And it gives almost any level of detail one could want - from brief review to basic understanding to semi-expert. This is a must read for any serious or not so serious racer, pit crews, and mechanics. Highest possible recommendation.

Amateur and incomplete
Absolutely one of the worst books ever written,Seems as if the author has no knowledge of the internals of suspension dynamics and doesn't know enough to explain anything..I'm surprised why would anyone decide to write a book with amateur level knowledge ?There are pages containing diagrams which are not even labelled completely ; author doesn't even explain the basic components which affect the handling in depth.Waste of time and money , the book should be title "I googled for 15 minutes and decided to write a book".Luckily it took me 15 minutes to go through this compilation of bits and pieces of disconnected ideas.

Driving
Great read for anyone who is tracking their car. Also very good for the every day driver who wants better control of their car.

Four Stars
Very good general introduction. Slightly redundant, but this may be to allow for non front-to-back reading.

Only useful if you don't know anything about a car's suspension
The information is too basic to be of any use to me. You'll find this book useful, only if you do not know anything about automobile suspension at all. It tells you how springs, shock absorbers and sway bars work.

Swerve to avoid - disappointing and lacking useful info
I'm sure Don knows about car suspension but this whole book unfortunately doesn't allow Don to share this information with the reader. Instead it reads like a great big advert for toyo tyres and hotchkis suspension parts (is Don in any way connected with them?). What little info there is on suspension is vague and mostly appears over half way through the book. To make matters worse, when you finally get to this section the author then frustratingly brushes over most of the useful info.An entire chapter is given to driving tips for racetracks and another whole chapter on different forms of weekend motorsports that you may wish to pursue. All very well but it felt like padding and wasting space that could otherwise have given the reader some useful suspension and handling information - after all this is what you think you are buying the book for.The frequent images were fairly random and did little or nothing to support the narrative (and 90% of the images were of hotchkis or toyo development cars). For example, the author included an image of a car in the grass to show what happens when a car leaves the road, just in case you wondered what that might look like...The retro PowerPoint-esque 1980's low budget graphics which attempt to illustrate different tyre rotations also become fairly meaningless / take ages to decipher on a Kindle paperwhite so if you are buying a digital copy for a b&w e-reader be aware.I bought this book because it was one of only two suspension books I found on the kindle shop. The other, by Des Hammill, I felt was far more informative. If you are considering buying "high performance handling for street or track" and you want to read knowledgable information on suspension it would be worth giving Dons book a miss. Instead take a look to see what other books might be available.

Sim, o livro correspondeu às minhas expectativas. Lamento apenas que tenha demorado a chegar mais tempo do que estava previsto.
