Simply Porter: The Music of Cole Porter -- 18 of His TImeless Songs (Simply Series)

Delightful and easy to play. I have enjoyed many of the Simply series and the arrangements generally make it a pleasure to play.

Large print. Easy to read. Nice Arrangements, I would rate it as advanced beginner to early intermediate in terms of difficulty. The down side of large easy to read print is of course more page turning. The bottom line is that for me I was glad I bought it.

As someone who only took a few years of piano lessons (and many, many years ago), I really appreciate the ease of the "Simply" series. At present I have ordered "Simply Porter," "Simply Gershwin," and "Simply Standards." The music is easy to read and follow. Don't expect to play like Cole Porter, but do expect to produce a simply and enjoyable rendition of many of your favorites.

Took piano lessons as a child and never got further than playing classical piano, hated practice and finally convinced my parents to let me give it up. I love standards and recently began playing again, the arrangements are great!! Easy and can easily be doctored up with chords and runs.

The arrangements are fine - simple enough for someone like me to work through while learning to play piano.The quality is not great, though. These are simply scanned copies of the arrangements, which is fine, but they are poorly done. Someone just slapped these on a scanner and didn't bother to make sure they were straight or came out dark enough. What you get is a Kindle version that has slanted pages and pages that are dramatically different in shade. For a digital copy, that's horrible; can't do anything about it, and it's already a bit tricky to get just the right brightness and contrast and flip through.

I bought this for my father because he is taking up the piano (again at 67 years old!). He loves Cole Porter, and his mother's book of Porter sheet music was destroyed by a flood years ago. This made a great gift for dad!

I love Cole Porter but my granddaughter looked at the music and left it on the floor and I haven't seen it since...I thought she's like some old-timey feel good but she seemed insulted...

I thought the title, Simply Porter, referred to the songbook of piano music to be just that, all Cole Porter. But it is easy piano. Great for those who wish to play easy piano.

Simple arrangements for piano of full Cole Porter songs. With lyrics. My only disappointment is the absence of "What is this thing called love?", but I knew that when I bought it.

Arrived on time. The book is for my daughter who started piano lessons a year ago. Some may be simple enough for her to try this year but I think she will need one more year of practice to tackle the majority. Great selection.

Have fun with Cole Really good..

I don't like the fact that this book does not have th chords as well as the notes.
