I absolutely love this detergent! Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Birchwood scent is clean, fresh, and has a subtle, woodsy vibe that makes doing laundry feel like a treat. It’s not overpowering—just the right amount of fragrance that lingers softly on clothes.It cleans really well, even in cold water, and I love that it’s biodegradable and made with essential oils. It’s gentle on my fabrics and tough on dirt. Plus, a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more natural detergent that still gets the job done and smells incredible!

I love much of Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day product line. Scent can be subjective, and I'm not a fan of some of their varieties, but this Basil scent is fresh and clean to me. I use it for their dryer sheets, Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Dryer Sheets, Basil, 80 Count, their hand soap, Mrs. Meyer's Hand Soap, Basil, 12.5 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 3), and their countertop spray, Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner Basil, 16 Fluid Ounce. The scent is light, clean and refreshing.It can be somewhat stronger immediately out of the bottle, but freshly washed or dried clothes simply smell clean, not overpowered with synthetic fragrances or perfumes. The same is true for the other products...they are a bit stronger initially, but quickly leave just a clean, fresh scent behind. And even the initial scent doesn't have that overpowering fake smell that some of the mainstream competitors do.I find the laundry soap cleans as well as or better than some regular detergents, since I don't have to use as much of it. It works in both cold and hot water, and I haven't seen any fading of my clothing. I've used it on stains, too, and as long as they are fresh, it tends to work well. If it's a stain that's set but hasn't been washed, a bit of this rubbed in with enough water to dampen it and a gentle brush will usually work, given several minutes to let it work before starting the wash.I also find it to be priced pretty well for a natural detergent option. It's usually comparable to or cheaper than many natural alternatives (though I'd recommend shopping around online for the best price...Amazon is usually great, but other retailers often have Mrs. Meyer's products at a cheaper price).

Great scent, cleans well. Not flowery, just kind of a woodsy clean smell. Love it. Thought the price was good. Would love to see this brand come out with detergent sheets in all the scents.

I wanted to switch to a laundry detergent that used safer, more responsible ingredients. I had hesitated to try this one because of the price, but, as it turns out, that is not an issue. When I compared the size of the measuring cup to my old brand, it turns out that Mrs. Meyer’s is actually cheaper. And yes, that tiny little capful handles a large load with perfect results, and a lovely scent. Will be buying this from now on!

This is my favorite laundry detergent. I’m very sensitive to scents and this is a very nice scent. I feel like I can detect when another human uses this because of the light (none intrusive) scent that is so yummy. I love smelling it on myself and others.I wish however that they made this in sheet form! I don’t regularly use this anymore bc of this favor.I expected by now that ms Meyers would’ve “gotten with it” with the sheet detergents. It’s more efficient in a million ways. This is why I gave it 4 stars. Would’ve been 5 I just think they need an option by now without the plastic bottle. It’s probably recyclable but the bottle also takes up more space than a laundry sheet would AND recycling is kind of not real so how am I supposed to know if it’s actually getting “recycled”. I started using laundry soap sheets and like it better for the space it saves in storing my laundry soap but 100 miss this scent because it’s so lovely and unique.Ms. Meyers get with it! — make a laundry soap sheet, with this amazing basil laundry scent! 👏🏼👏🏼

I hate this company...jk..but really.. i started using the laundry detergent then ALSO started using the multi surface cleaner ... NOW i am also using the dish soap. Lol. Amazing products, great smell with an unbelievable variety of scents. I am addicted to these products. Best cleaners i have ever used!
