All the pens came with blue ink so if you want black ink, you’ll have to put in the black refill ink. My daughter loves these. But, she already broke a pen. The top where the small animal is broke so the one won’t click anymore. Since it’s a 12 pack, I just replace the pen.The pen writes smoothly and the eraser was easy to use. The ink dries fast so there was no smearing.

Pens are good and cute. The only item needs redesign is the side slide that pushes the pen part out to write. That is very flimsy and will break easily. Specially because this is more used by kids. Other than that I'll buy these again if need be as they function perfectly and my kids are enjoying them.

These will be a Christmas present, so I am not sure how they erase just yet. The kids love writing with pen though, so it is great to have a kid friendly version. It is a big pack, so can be broken up to put on top of gifts or give as party favors.

These pens would b great for kids or young people but they don't erase as well as I would have hoped. It takes quite a bit of pressure and even then it's not perfect. But they are cute and came with refills so for the money I'm keeping them.

Be careful if you’re using them with your kids. The pieces come off easy and little kid could swallow some of the pieces. I use them for work so I don’t mind but don’t last long good thing they come with additional fills. Cute and erase well.

I bought this soon after I had learned about eraseable pens. My first eraseable pen was this onigiri pen from a Korean stationary store, and it wrote fine, but the tip of the pen was a little wide and the black ink was a bit more grey. So, comparatively, these pens right here are just as cute, but write even better! I love the blue and black ink choices, and both write very clear and nice thin lines. They erase cleanly--the only thing is that you might notice that the pen "engraving" impression from writing on a soft surface is noticeable when you go over the same spot.In case you were wondering, no, the eraser doesn't work to erase other pens, nor do normal erasers work on this. It's the type of ink that matters, and it's erased with friction, so any friction eraser will erase the ink. That being said, don't use it for important documents like checks, because if the person you write the check to knows it's eraseable, they could change the amount if they have a friction pen. This didn't happen to me, but I heard about it from someone else... I use mine mostly for writing kanji, journaling, and note-taking. It's great for lefties who want scribble-free note pages without those infamous pencil smudge marks.
