One of my Favorites Coffee for this Coffee Lover
My husband and I love this coffee. There’s several pluses that we appreciate. First, there’s not static when we grind with our burr grinder! Am thinking it means it’s fresh and good quality. The flavor is amazing. It’s medium but no bitterness. Smooth and creamy and is really good cold as well.Is it worth the price? Evidently as we keep coming back to it.We buy whole bean. Have tried several roasts of this brand and honestly, we love them all.Only drawback is the price, as it’s on the higher end of coffees, but not as bad as say, Jamaican Blue Mountain!!

One Supercalifragelisticexpialidocius Coffee
Yes, this is one Supercalifragelisticexpialidocius coffee. I have purchased drunk over 80+ coffees from around the world in my lifetime and have now found the best of the lot save the Kona from Hawaii and the Jamaica Blue Mountain from Jamaica. Bet you could have figured that one out for yourself!!!I could not believe what I was drinking when I first experienced the first sip of this excellent brew. I don’t roast my own coffee beans but I do grind them and then make them on one of the best coffee makers on the open market—a Moccamaster Cup One. If Manna from Heaven was a black liquid then I have found it and loved every drop of the many cups I have since brewed.I know that I have waxed on and on about a coffee being so unbelievably delicious but I could not do anything else but state the truth. This coffee is has a nice body but is famous for its clarity and it’s this unbounded clarity that makes it so unique. In fact, in my opinion this coffee has the highest clarity of all the 80+ coffees I have purchased over the past 15+ years. I can or I think I can taste every individual undertone fruits it exhibits. I can distinguish passion fruit, mango, maybe some guava, and possibly apricot when dried. It also has a taste of tobacco, dark chocolate, as well as having some earthiness about it. It’s very low in acidity which will please many coffee drinkers like myself. There are Sumatran coffees such as another favorite of mine—Sumatra Mandheling. However, for me the Gayo is more complex and definitely smoother than the Mandheling. Don’t get me wrong as the Mandheling is a great coffee but not as distinctive as the Gayo.If you love a great cup of coffee in the morning or at lunchtime or in the evening or just anytime during the day, you won’t go wrong with the coffee. While Volcanica Coffee sells this coffee for ~$25.00/lb. other vendors sell this same coffee for as much as nearly $55.00/lb. I can’t explain the difference in price from one vendor to another but I can only hope that Volcanica retains their price at what it is today.Try it for I am sure you will really love it and might make it your day-to-day coffee. I have at three cups per day—minimum!

a full bodied, rich and pleasant tasting brew
Though a tad expensive, these smallish, dark Ethiopian coffee beans, when ground, give the drinker a full bodied, rich and pleasant tasting brew, neither bitter or tart. Ideal for breakfast or an afternoon "pick me up."

the best coffee I’ve ever had
This is literally the best coffee I’ve ever consumed. It’s Smokey, dark roast, and rich but so smooth. I look forward to drinking this for the rest of my life. So happy my son found this amazing coffee for me.

Don't trust this is the authentic properly processed actual blue mountain
I've had real Jamaican blue mountain coffee in Jamaica. The first time I ordered this I felt it was blue mountain, it had that nutty nice flavor that I remembered. The second time I ordered it it was different, the flavor was different and a comment from another Amazon review came to mind where they said it tasted like brown water, and that's what the second batch tasted like. The price is high which may lead one to believe that it is authentic, but this could also be part of their marketing strategy, because most people who know blue mountain coffee know that it is expensive and won't buy the inexpensive ones because they know that at those prices there is no way it is authentic.I use a European coffee maker, not a drip machine and I made it at different strengths to get the true flavor, but that blue mountain flavor was not there in the second batch. True blue mountain comes form a select area and not all of the coffee grown in Jamaica is blue mountain, not even all of it in the blue mountains. 80% of blue mountain coffee goes to Japan, the remaining 20% is left for the peasants to fight over, so there is a lot of room for shenanigans. I also don't believe Amazon does anything to verify the authenticity of products they allow to be sold on their site.In conclusion, I don't trust that this is 100% genuine blue mountain coffee and at this price and the fact that my second batch was very different from the first, I don't trust it enough to justify the cost. You'll also see that there are other blue mountain coffees on Amazon at much lower prices, beware, because there is a very limited supply of blue mountain and they cannot possibly grow enough of it to satisfy the demand, hence the high possibility of fraudulent claims. So I am going to stop buying it and stick with the Warpath coffee that we like and it has a reasonable price tag.

Not worth the price
You are charged important fees, then the courier they choose also has handling fees. By the time you get the product it is more than double the cost listed on Amazon.

"Whole Bean" was true, forget the rest.
The only diffrence with the cheapest supermarket coffee is it costs 10 time more. I am used to and love Nicaraguan coffee, but not this one. The seller can call this whatever they want but it's not what you expect at this price. I tried it, and was profoundly disappointed with the taste and aroma. I don't believe that the coffee I received was what it is claimed to be.

No flavour
This coffee was advertised as medium roast but it had no flavour at all even when we doubled the measurement for a regular size coffee cup. Very disappointing and a true waste of money.

Fresh!
Not my first Tanzania Peaberry coffee, but first Volcanica. The coffee beans arrived earlier than expected and were fresh! Highly recommended. I will buy again!
