I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE NEXT 18 WEEKS HAS IN HOLD FOR ME.THIS IS A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME AND MY TRANSFORMATION.My life was just passing me by, and I was ok with it, because I thought this is as good as it gets. I was living in a fog, faking my way through everything. It was too painful to have it any other way. I was unhappy, unhealthy, very sad, and lonely. I blamed everyone in my life for my unhappiness. I was at one of my lowest points that I could remember. I was failing as a wife and getting a divorce for the 2nd time. I would isolate myself and eat all the time. It made me feel better and it got me through my day. I was embarrassed to be around people. The worst part of the whole thing was I was bringing my daughter down with me. We would eat together and she started to put on weight. I didn't even really notice it.My husband and I decided we would split up after the holidays. So in mid January I decided to go on a DIET! Yes, I said diet, because we all know that diets fix everything. And I was going to be single again, and needed to lose some weight. So looking through all the books I had, because I have tried every diet out there, I came across the BFL book. I thought I'll do this diet, although I only did it for one week back in 2004, but this time it will be different, so I told myself. As I was getting prepared to start my new diet, I decided to go online and see what Bill Phillips was up too, see if he's done anything new. This is when I found [...]So my reasons to change in the beginning were not for the right reasons, but I didn't know that at the time, and it got me started and I'm very grateful for that.The last 18 weeks have been amazing for me. I have learned so much about myself. I committed to doing this program with an open heart and to really give the assignments everything I have. My intentions were to start my week and finish my week, and I would do this 18 times. Each week that passed by I became softer, happier, more forgiving. I was changing right before my eyes and my husband's eyes. He didn't want a divorce, but he didn't want to keep living the way we were. Today my husband and I have a wonderful marriage. We have fun together, we laugh a lot, and we have that closeness that is new to me and I feel safe. I know in any relationship I have, I am responsible for myself and my happiness. I am not a victim and I hold all the power and I will never give that away to anyone. Transformation an incredible wealth of information and a heaping dose of real world resuts
This Transformation Book has literally saved my life. I have been working Bill Phillips Transformation program for the last 2.5 years and the results are amazing. I became 116 pounds lighter in the first 9.5 months and have sustained that in the time period since. I have gained not only physical fitness but have grown incredibly both spiritually and emotionally. The 18 assignments that Bill has put together created a path for me to leave my past behaviors, thoughts and feelings behind and today I am as healthy and as happy as I have ever been.I would wholeheartedly reccomend this book to anyone who wants to change their life and to work Bills program just as he suggests. Brilliant
Bill has put together transformational concepts and practices that will work when applied with sincerity and consistency. Much of the book is backed by science and years of direct observation. I have spent the past year practicing these concepts alongside his EFL and BFL approaches and can absolutely say they work. I've lost nearly all the physical weight and the mental weight isn't far behind.

Get in Shape Without The Gimmicks!
I read Bill Phillips book, Body for Life about 15 years ago and got into fantastic shape at 32. Unfortunately I let the pounds creep their way back and now at 45 I was concerned the Body for Life plan would be a bit intense for me. I purchased this book because it seemed a little less "hardcore" and I am extremely pleased and motivated to restart my journey to get back in shape. If you are familiar with Bill Phillip's you are not going to learn much new here diet and exercise wise on top of Body for Life. He has made quite a few changes in supplementation...and you don't have to be a hardcore gym rat to do this plan. Where this book excels is in the mental component. Getting your head straight to make the changes you need to make. I have been following his regime for about 1 1/2 months now, and I have lost at least 15 pounds, and I really have not found it difficult. I really recommend any of his books, as he is definitely not a gimmick or lose if fast- gain it all back fast diet promoter.
