Active Forward Lancets, 100 Count + Adjustable Lancing Device

Very nice adjustable Lancing device. After many years of checking my blood sugars my fingers have toughen up so much that Accu-check lancing devices just bounce off my callused finger tips where as Active adjust adjusted to level 5,, penetrates my callused finger the very first time..The lancets are very nice also. I only wish is that the Active1st 5 level lancing pen would be able to use Accu-check lancets because the VA pays for my Accu-check type lancet which only works with Accu-check lancing devices. Very nice and I am very pleased with Active1st level 5 adjustable Lancing Pen.Would recommend it to all diabetics. I will buy again.. Great price also..

Weak mechanism. Have to press really hard (unpleasant), and get the perfect vertical angle or no blood is drawn. The only setting that ANY blood can be drawn is the highest (#5). Also has a hair-trigger release button compared to my old, lamented longer-style device from B-D. Still, it was a bargain and after several months I am getting a little bit better at drwing blood the first (ir second) try. I do not recommend this. I'm still hoping to find a B-D. It was $12 but lasted 6 years and was still working wasily when I lost it.

I really liked this, some devices hurt too much but I could barely feel this. It looks to be a little flimsy though so you probably should be careful when you use it. Love that it comes with the lancets and I don't have to make a separate purchase for it.

This Active 1st lancing device worked properly for my needs. It is small, compact and has a sufficient spring to give me a prick to enable blood to flow for my diabetic blood meter. It originally looked like it was not strong enough to hold the lancing needle, but since I have found this is not so. As a matter of fact, it is hard to insert the needle into. I suppose this is to hold it securely. And it does. I received it on time and in good condition. It is white to show any hint of dirt.

Seems to be long lasting I have had this for a while and although is not the smallest in size its easy to use , and its build of good durable material

I have two.I've tried others and I like this one better.

Lancets are great. The active 1rst does not work. You can load it. And push the button and it fires but the lancet simply doesnt stick out the end. No matter what. Do not buy.
