Absolutely brilliant the water change has never been so quick or so easy the hose is easy to assemble, easy to use does a great job and was a good price I've purchased more expensive water changers that haven't worked this well or this fast it literally emptied a over a 3rd of the tank in a couple of minutes removing algae and waste efficiently .

Absolutely brilliant. Very effective and easy to use. Hand pump works with very little effort, which is great for people with arthritis etc. Just put it the right way round! Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is the gravel attachment has no guard and a couple of snails got sucked up. The were very easily removed though.

Cleaning the fish tanks is a real chore. We have a 60l and a 30l, and need to do a partial water change every week or two weeks. Recently I've been finding myself putting it off more and more because it's such a chore with the old "jiggle-up-and-down-to-start" siphon. Then, a few weeks ago, the ball in the old siphon started sticking 'open', so the vaccuum didn't form when jiggling, so I decided to replace it. I tried a squeezy siphon when we got the tanks many years ago, but it was rubbish. However, this one seemed to get good reviews, so I paid a little more and got it. Assembling it was nice and easy. Didn't need to read the instructions. The length of tubing is far too long for what I need it for, but if your tank is on a shelf and the bucket is on the floor, it's perfect. Getting the suction started is simplicity itself. A couple of squeezes and it's started. Brilliant. The speed is a lot higher than the last one too, cutting the time to change the water in half. So much less mess too, the jiggly siphon splashed everywhere, and I was always afraid of braining one of the more curious fish. For the price, it's a time saver and I can't complain at all.

I'm delighted with this. It works really well at cleaning the aquarium substrate without sucking all your gravel or sand away.

Well, the good news is that it worked. The less good news is that the design is pretty woeful. Three problems: 1. the instructions make big thing of ensuring that the squeezy pump is connected the right way - with one end marked output. Only it wasnt, both ends were identical. Still - only a choice of two ways, so soon sorted that! 2. The syphon squeezer is meant to be at the end of the pipe, inside the bucket collecting the water. So unless a two person operation,its a bit of a contortion to have one hand squeezing, in the bucket and the other steering the collection head from above the aquarium ( I solved this by cutting the pipe, and putting the squeeze about half-way up) 3. There is no way provided to stop the flow. once started. You have to either lift the pipe out of the aqarium ( slow and messy) or bend the pipe back on itself to strangle the flow.

Great for deeper tanks as you can have the rigid part really long if you want as there is 2 peices of that. I have a deeper tank and I am a short woman so I love that. I also have telescopic tools from the same brand and I am so grateful for them all. No more whole arm in for me lol. The pumping thingy me bob works well, one or two pumps and you've got the flow so no more sucking on the pipe like the olden days. The only issue with this whole thing is there is no proper instructions so you need to figure it all out yourself when putting it together.

I know this product wasn’t that expensive but unfortunately this item it is very slow to drain water out of the tank so I ended up just using my jug that I previously used when my old pump had sadly died after 27 years of use.

Es maravilloso. Tengo una tortuguera con una tortuga de agua de unos 35cm de longitud de caparazón. Alterno entre un estanque en el jardín y la tortuguera en otoño/invierno y por las noches siempre, y a pesar de tener la depuradora cambio toda el agua de la tortuguera a diario. Unos 70L al día que durante los últimos 10 años he sacado a cubos 🥴 Entre el vaciado y limpiar el fondo y la gravilla, tardaba 45 minutos. Con ésta maravilla vacío a la vez que limpio el fondo...y de 45 minutos he pasado a tardar 5 y sin cansarme (la salida de agua la saco por la ventana directamente al jardín, pero también los cubos los tiraba por la ventana). No puedo mencionar la durabilidad porque lo tengo desde hace 2 días...pero tiene pinta de ser sólido. Cuando se rompa compraré el mismo. Lo recomiendo!

Ganz ehrlich, ich habe bestimmt schon alles an Mulmer getestet, aber dieses Produkt ist mit Abstand das beste. Preisleistung ist absolut in Ordnung und man hat kein lästiges Aquarienwasser im Mund. Rohre zusammenbauen, Schlauch dran und ins Wasser damit. 2 mal pumpen und das Wasser läuft, perfekt. Die Zugkraft idt wirklich stark, sodass wirklich alles an Mulm angesaugt wird. Sollte doch mal etwas Grund mit gezogen werden, läuft dies einfach mit durch in den Eimer(kein verstopfen des Schlauches oder der Pumpe ) Mitgeliefert werden noch zwei Saugnäpfe, mit denen man den Schlauch an der Scheibe oder im Eimer befestigen kann. Ein gelungenes Produkt, ohne viel Schnick Schnack , das tadellos funktioniert und tut was soll. Kann es nur Empfehlen.
