Hard steel that doesn’t round off.

I bought this as a one time use tool to help remove an N75 turbo frequency valve on a VW/Audi. I should NOT have been able to remove the valve without dropping the subframe and engine to access the side of the turbo. I needed an M4 Allen/Hex bit for the job and the Orange and Blue Big-Box Stores no longer carry what I need!? This one time use tool performed well and shows little wear. It was worth its weight in gold!

I wanted longer bits to use in my electric screwdriver and these fit the bill. They appear to have a black oxide coating which is generally durable, but can be prone to rusting. My only issue with these bits is that the size labeling is simply stamped and on some barely stamped. This combined with the lack of contrast on the marking makes it difficult to find the one you are looking for unless you have an organizer.

Good price, they worked well for my needs. R&R shower handle whereas I needed a long shaft to get past the handle and deep pocket where the hex nut is located

Bought this set to build a 1/10 scale RC chassis kit. It has 100’s of 1.5 and 2 mm and a handful of 2.5 mm hex bolts and screws. The 1.5 mm bit rounded off 75% through the build, the 2 mm bit lasted through 95%. Ended up finishing with the manual Allen wrenches that came with the kit. If you don’t use them a lot or frequently this set is great for the price. If you work a lot with the smaller sizes you’d be better off buying a 10 pk of those sizes.

These are great. Work in a drill or screwdriver and so handy to have such a range in sizes. The ones I looked at in my local big box did not have the large size (that I needed for installing some rock wall climb holds, and I lost the bit that came with them). A couple weeks later, the garbage disposal went out... and I had the full range of bits to find the right size to do the manual reset. Love these and they have a great little carrying case.
