I work in a school for special needs children, many have feeding and drinking difficulties. We use these flexi-cut cups in our Feeding Program. They are a very useful tool for developing and reinforcing appropriate drinking skills, making it easier for the therapist to control the process and making it easier for the child to get the liquid without having to tilt the head back. My daughter has some developmental delays due to food allergies and sensory problems. The Feeding Team at CHOP during our stay at the Day Hospital Feeding Program used this cup to begin to teach our daughter how to drink from a cup. I purchased a the medium (blue) ones to practice with at home. The cut away part makes drinking from a cup easier for my daughter. It gives her confidance because she can drink from this cup better then from a regular cup. A great cup to use after a sippy cup and before a regular cup for any child!

We purchased these cups at the suggestion of our kid's speech therapist. My one year old twins were struggling with feeding and could not drink from a bottle or sippy cup. They loved this cup. It requires a little more assistance with really little ones, but was easier for them to drink from than any of the sippy cups or a regular cup. I'd recommend them if you are having trouble getting your infant/toddler to drink from other cups.

My son has oral dysphasia and this cup has been a blessing in our lives. He can now drink out of a cup which is something we’ve struggled with for over a year before getting these cups. I highly recommend these cups. They’re durable, great quality and easy to learn to use

Our feeding therapist suggested these cups for my son. The cups are very tiny and my kid hates them.

My daughter's feeding therapist introduced us to these. My girl is just learning how to drink from things beyond the bottle. These are wonderful because I can easily see how close the liquid is to her mouth, and I don't have to worry about the top of the rim pushing against her face. I find a thicker liquid works best at this point, but even thin ones work well. I do wish that I had seen that they came in two packs before I ordered, though. Five is a bit much for one baby.

LOVE THESE! Yes they are PLASTIC but dishwasher safe so that is a plus. My daughter has Rett Syndrome and cannot hold a cup on her own. These have a cut out so that when I am giving her head which is tilted down in part to her Rett Syndrome, I can still get her to drink from it. It does only hold 2 oz and obviously you can only fill to the lower portion of the cup. I HIGHLY recommend these and they have made my giving my daughter liquids so much easier!
