The Perfect Solution
I have a 2006 GMC Envoy XL SLT and my original OEM shift linkage bushing cracked and failed in the middle of a very busy intersection. At first I thought I would need to replace the entire shift cable assembly. After getting the vehicle towed home, I researched Amazon.com and found that I only needed this part and immediately ordered it from Amazon. It was easy to install, fit perfectly, and solved my problem for less than $20. It has provided excellent service for over 3 months now. I even drove my Envoy over 3000 miles on a family vacation and it worked perfectly all the way. I highly recommend this part.

Inexpensive fix
The small clear bushing worked for my 4WD transfer case on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler. It was easiest to soften the bushing in hot water and add some lubricants to press into place. This is a much better fix than the Jeep dealer $300+ complete transfer case cable. My Jeep is back to new!

2005 Humner h2
Works perfect...Get some water boiling in a cup,put the white bushing in the hot water, let it sit, take bushing out and install same with clear bushing.White bushing is for the interior shifter cable, clear bushing is for cable to transmission gear select.

One Bushing has purpose
When I installed this in my 2003 Chevy Cavalier it took a bit of doing but I got it in. Then I realized my shift cable broke on both ends, on the front (connected to the transmission) and on the back (connected to the shifter). So I used the other bushing only to find out it was too flimsy and if I shift, it would just stretch the bushing. The first bushing did it's job however the other one was useless.

Cheap fix.
Used on 06 titan. Its really hard to insert the bushing in to the shift cable, after alot of fighting it fixed my problem. Tuck a towel under shifter to keep part from falling through bottom of truck and loosing parts.
