Whats the difference between Formula 2 and Formula 2 Plus. I removed some gel polish and my nails are a mess, peeling and splitting.

I started out using Formula 3 -- and my nails became strong for the first time in my LIFE. I used this for approximately 3 years and never had any problems -- eventually applying 2-3 times a week; then removing with a gentle nail polish remover once a week, and starting afresh. 6 months ago I tried the Formula 2+ and it seemed to FIX two nails that had problems in the cuticle area -- those problems/damages have completely cleared up. Now I alternate between the 2+ and the 3. But I am careful, when applying, to NOT get any on my skin or cuticles around my nails -- and wipe any excess off these areas immediately. Does this product work well as a base coat on its own, or should I add one on top of it to prevent staining?

I've used 1-2 coats of this as my base coat for about a year and I have never had the polish I apply over it stain my nails. Also, my nails have not yellowed. I keep colored polish on them 80% of the time. When I'm not wearing polish, I keep the Nailtiques 2 Plus on them. When I don't, my nails begin to peel again. I don't know if it's the Nailtiques, keeping my nails polished, applying Seche Vite as my top coat over my polished nails, or a combined effect of all 3, but I don't have near the problem of my nails peeling and breaking as I did before.

I use it every night before going to bed, and use the oil therapy which dries the nail protein fast and I massage into my cuticles. I purchased the Nail color after my nails began to grow out because it still allows the nail protein to filter through to the nail bed.

What is the difference between Formula 2 Plus and the Nailtiques 1?
