Very likely made by the same manufacturer as Jos A Bank and Allen Edmonds Shoe Trees
For those that may be curious, I'm very certain that these Stratton shoe trees are made by the same company that makes the shoe trees sold by Jos A. Bank and Allen Edmonds under their respective name brands. I have pairs of both Bank and Edmonds trees and they are identical to the Stratton trees. On their own merit, the Stratton trees do get the job done. They have a pleasant wood scent and they fit perfectly in my Allen Edmonds shoes. For the price, you are getting a steal of a high-quality product. I will buy more of these when I need them.

Quality trees, and the size is right
I recently bought a new pair of size 10.5 M shoes and needed to buy a pair of shoe trees. I decided to go with cedar, but agonized over what size. I picked the Stratton brand because the trees are made in the U.S. and because of the fine reviews. The listing for a large of this brand is 10.5 to 11.5, and after reading the reviews I ordered the large size. I'm relieved - they fit well. I don't want to stretch the shoes, so I stopped pushing when I could feel no slack on the sides of the front few inches of the shoe, even though the trees do not quite reach the tip of the toe. (The trees are generously wide.) This required only a modest amount of force. There is still some range with the spring inside the trees. The finish of the wood is excellently smooth, and I like the cedar aroma. I've only had the trees for a few days. I'll update my review after a few months. If all goes well, I'll order more of these to replace some old plastic ones.

Fantastic! Great craftsmanship and fit
These are great. Bought them for my first pair of Allen Edmonds' and they fit perfectly. I have some older Cole Haan's that have deep creases between the laces and the cap that I put them in and it seems to help reduce the creases a bit. Hopefully between these and more polish I can fill in the creases some. The craftsmanship on these is excellent. I have already ordered an additional pair, and expect to buy one for each pair of my nicer dress shoes. For reference I wear a 10.5-11 dress shoe and the Large fits perfect.

Dealing with this wood in the morning is annoying
My biggest qualm about these is trying to get them back out. There's no ergonomic way to remove them, so you have to kind of pinch the sides while bracing the heel of the shoe. They don't quite reach the sides of the toe in my size 10 Johnston & Murphy cap toe's, and the bump right above the 'air vents' isn't pronounced enough to fight those creases.Other than that, it's 100% cedar. I should have held it further away before I took a huge whiff to confirm.

GREAT QUALITY SPLIT TOE SHOE TREES MADE IN USA!!
I have been an attorney for 18 years now, and as you can imagine that requires me to dress my best at all times, making sure my shirts and the crease on my pants are fresh, but that was never my challenge for me. On the other hand, keeping my shoes looking like new was something I was always challenged at, I would brush them and take care of them, but they wouldn't last more than a year at best two years. About 7 years ago one of my colleagues introduced me to my first shoe tree (brisker brand shoe tree) I didn't think much of it, after all, it's a piece of cedar. But I got to tell you! my shoes have lasted from 2 to sometimes 4 years when using the shoe tree every night.Due to my recent purchase of shoes, I was looking for that same brand which my friend bought me so many years ago, unfortunately, I couldn't find that brand anywhere (I guess the brisker company went out of business). So I went to our favorite shopping platform, I found the Stratton split toe shoe trees, which caught my attention due to the highly rated reviews, and the fact that its MADE IN USA! so I figured I'll give it a shot. (even though I've only brought in the past Allen Edmonds brand shoe tree). I love these shoe trees. I only bought one pair because I was skeptical that they wouldn't fit right (due to my narrow sizing). However, once I got them in my shoes, I saw that they were a perfect fit, and very well constructed! I bought the medium for my size 9.5 shoe and I couldn't be more satisfied. They smell GREAT, too! I will be buying two more sets for my two other pairs of dress shoes. If you're thinking it isn't worth spending the extra money to have shoe trees, you couldn't be more wrong. I can say that because I used to think the same thing. The fact is, for a small investment, these trees will help to dry your shoes out and help to keep them in proper shape for as long as possible. They will more than pay for themselves when you consider the extra months/years that you will be able to wear the shoes because of them.

... pair of walking shoes from Joya ($239) with a pretty pale pink pearlized leather top
I recently bought a rather expensive pair of walking shoes from Joya ($239) with a pretty pale pink pearlized leather top. I love these shoes! They are so comfy!!! I want them to last and look good for a long time. The Stratton cedar shoe trees were a justifiable expense to preserve my "investment". Some plastic shoe trees came with the shoes, but plastic against the inside of a, perhaps slightly moist, shoe which has just been worn all day wasn't going to cut it. These cedar trees are better quality than some I saw in a store for around the same price. They serve the purpose of helping to preserve my shoes, maintain their shape and keep them looking new for a long time. I also wipe my shoes about every other use, with a micro fiber cloth, to get the street dirt off of them. Glad I got these shoe trees!
