This Mounting Dream TV Mount has honestly exceeded my expectations. The mount feels very well built, with thick steel and strong welds that inspire confidence once the TV is on the wall. After installation, the TV sits secure and level with no wobble at all. Installation is very easy thanks to the clear instructions and well labeled hardware. It came with multiple bolt sizes and spacers, which makes it easy to get a perfect fit for any TV without having to make extra trips to the hardware store. The tilting feature works smoothly and helps cut down glare without slipping over time. Once mounted, the TV stays close to the wall and looks clean and professional. For the quality, safety rating, and ease of install, this mount is an excellent value and something I’d buy again without hesitation. The price was much better than similar items at the big box stores.

I have to say, this was one of the most well-thought-out products I've ever purchased. The item arrived well packaged in a sturdy box (inside another Amazon box) with everything well laid out inside. All of the fasteners were individually packaged so there's no fishing around for the right part. For the record, I used this to mount a 65" TV that weighs about 50 lbs. It is definitely sturdy and can hold much more. Additional tools you will need: Tape measure, stud-finder, drill w/drill and screwdriver bits, wrench & socket set (SAE). Mounting on the wall was a breeze. My advice to other buyers that you will need to locate the wall studs accurately and you will need drill the pilot holes as close to the center of the studs as possible - particularly if you're mounting a heavy TV. There's just no getting around that. Use the "stud-finder" to mark the edges of the studs, then use those marks to determine the mid-point. Make a couple of passes to be absolutely sure. Included in the package is a peal-and-stick cardboard template and two bubble levels. Don't bother with the one that you're supposed to stick on the template, just use the big plastic one. You're going to want to do some measuring here to make sure you place the mount exactly where you want it. I was lucky that the center of the TV was almost dead-center between two studs. You'll also want to measure the height of the mount by test-fitting the part that goes on the TV and doing a little figuring on how much to move the mount up or down so that the TV is where you want it. Once you've drilled the holes, screw the bracket to the wall and use a wrench to snug the screws tight. Don't over-tighten or you'll strip out the holes. Make sure you put the mount right side up (Yes, I made this mistake). Next, attach the brackets to the TV. The kit comes with an assortment of screws, washers and bushings to accommodate any TV. Each TV is different and you're just going to have to use common sense. Don't over-tighten these screws either, but the brackets need to be snug. Before hanging the TV on the wall mount, ensure that the side-to-side and front-to-back tilt adjustment screws are tight and relatively level. You can adjust them later to get them perfect, but you should have them close to where they need to be now and tightened down so the mount doesn't move when you're trying to hang the TV on it. Have someone help you lift the TV onto the wall mount. It just hangs on there (at first), but it's much easier if you have someone to help guide it into place. Attach the locking brackets to the bottom of the TV brackets and you're done!!! Operation of the mount is very smooth, though it takes just a little bit more effort than I'd like. I attribute that to the fact that it's brand new and I'm certain a few drops of oil strategically placed will resolve that. BY NO MEANS would I suggest getting a different mount based on that purely-subjective opinion. This mount is perfect for a big TV. It's a little pricier than most, but worth every penny.

This is the best TV mount we have ever purchased! Easy to install, very sturdy, tilt and other features work as expected. We needed a heavy duty mount as we love the picture on our older Panasonic Plasma TV and it is heavy! Customer Service is even more outstanding - very prompt responses for help we needed 2.5 years after our purchase (not a product defect, just a customization). I would highly recommend this company for a solid mount that will last a lifetime!

So the truth is, I thought it was able to spin around 360° all the way around and it does not but that is OK. It was for my daughters room and I put it up high and I have no cords on the ground because it comes with the cord holders and I have it coming out of her room because she is one so that she’s not grabbing all over them. I have the cords coming out of her room and into my sons room who is Older And is it also comes with a little blue thing which I think you guys should let people know beforehand because it was hard for me to see it and then I found it and even on the instructions you couldn’t really see it it’s just a small part that says hey, here’s your level or here’s your balancer thing, but it does come with a balancer type of thing so that you can set it on both and see if it’s level and it’s very sturdy like it will not move at all. I don’t care if I did have court and my daughter was going on. I am telling you now it wouldn’t come down because her father tried and it didn’t. All in all I would rate this Friday 790 to a 95% on a scale 1 to 10 I would go with a nine I think the product is 30 functional and fantastic especially for my one year old daughter and I really do like it.

Update 4/30/21. Original purchase 2/19/19. I needed new parts to accommodate a new TV using the same mount. But I didn't keep the extra parts that came with the mount, so, I called Dream Mount for help. They are sending me what I need (screws and spacers) free of charge. Now THAT'S service. From opening the package to finished install, this piece of equipment was truly a "Dream" to work with. Very high-quality piece of gear. Very easy to install and it feels solid as a rock after installation. I had to build a frame structure in an opening for a recessed TV. That was the hard part. Once the studs were in place, the rest was very easy after I figured out how high to drill the holes in the studs to get the new 55" Samsung mounted at the right height on the studs. The mount comes with a tiny level for the template and a 6-inch level for checking your work as you go. It also comes with many TV mounting components of different sizes so you can mount any TV. Well packaged and marked. The user manual was also well done and easy to follow. I put the back brackets on the TV using one long spacer for each top hole and one medium spacer for each bottom hole to account for the curve of the rear of the TV. I used the longer, thicker bolts. I then drilled 4 holes with a 7/32" drill bit, two in each stud where indicated by the template. I could not use the little level for the template because with open studs, the template didn't lay completely flat. But I used a 2.5' level of my own to check the levelness of the template on the studs and knew how high to drill the holes by measuring from the bottom of the TV to the bottom mounting bar for the mount. It was a little difficult to put the first bolt into the studs because I had to hold the 22+ lb. mount in one hand while getting the bolt started with the other hand. I'm 72 and not as strong as I used to be. But once I got one bolt in, the rest was easy, using a ratchet to drive the bolts. I had to get help lifting the TV onto the mount. It was just too big and bulky to do myself. But once hung on the mount bars, it was simple to put the hold clamps on the bottom of each side and then adjust the TV for leveling, which in my case, I just used the TV frame and pushed it until it was level. It stayed there and is very solid. I also pulled the TV out to the maximum extension of the mount and turned it so I could see the TV from another room, the kitchen. Very cool to be able to do that, so I can watch TV now while I cook. When I was done checking that, I just pushed the TV back into place, very easily, for watching in the family room. I love this mount. It is very well made and solid. I will be needing another one for our master bedroom soon and I will absolutely buy another one of the exact same model for that job, which will be a flush mount on our bedroom wall near one corner high on the wall. More complicated job because I'll have to install an electrical and cable outlet up behind the TV so no wires are hanging out. But I know this mount will be perfect for the job.

It is rare these days to find products of this high quality at a true value price! I was so impressed with the quality, ease of installation, and excellent strength and functionality of this product that I ordered another one to replace an existing (lesser quality) mount. From my experience with both purchases, The Mounting Dream company exemplifies excellent quality control demonstrated by both products being received in a sturdy product box, factory tape sealed. Instructions are thorough and easy. All necessary hardware is supplied including numerous spacers to answer almost any tolerance situation (were not even needed in my casde but very handy should one need them). The design of this mount is among the best imo as it allows lateral movement of the TV after installation for better centering on the wall if pulled away from the wall or angled in varioius positions. Adjusting angle and tilt is easy and secure. The installation is quite simple and an important tip is use the included level (or you own) to be sure everything is level. A convenient and helpful mounting template is included that makes installation even easier. The lag bolts are fine only I used slightly shorter/slightly larger diameter ones; but the ones included certainly suffice only I found it a bit easier to drive a slightly shorter one all the way into the stud using slightly shorter lag bolts; avoiding the chance of overstressing the head of the longer lag bolts included. Just pre drill the holes into the wall/stud. IMPORTANT-Definitely DO NOT use power drivers to power drive in the lag bolts as that could cause too much torque leading to bolt fracture. AS STATED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS, Install lag bolts only by using a manual hand tool and a ratchet and socket or socket driver work far better and easier than a Phillips screwdriver. to install lag bolts. This company is reputable based on the product quality and quality control measures taken in packaging. If you are looking for an excellent, easy to install, highly versatile and functional TV mount for a great price and appreciate excellent packaging, instructions, customer support contact info, etc., you found it with Mounting Dream. My guess is the other products Mounting Dream offer are comparable in terms of quality and value. Since often reviews can all to often be fake, please be assured that this review is my honest opinion based on experience from purchasing two units. I have not been contacted or offered anything for this review and would never partake in such activities which I feel have potential to only mislead the consumer. You can trust in this review as I rarely write reviews, but when a product comes along that is this satisfying and noteworthy, then I believe the product and company deserve noteworthy recognition. Hopefully more companies will follow suit with this level of all around bar setting quality.
