Absolutely love this brand!
Absolutely love this brand! I've gotten it for a couple years now. I tried to just go with a bag of potting soil from the big box store instead of ordering this and my plants suffered from that mistake. This company makes such high quality products. I also love that there's no peat moss due to the environmental impacts the harvest of pest moss causes.

Wonderful for starting vegetable transplants.
Using this to grow vegetable starts, and it is working beautifully. Veggie starts are growing quickly, are stout and sturdy!

Best Sustainable Peat Free Potting Soil Seed Starter
I was recommended this soil from Blossom and Branch Farm on YT along with sheep wool pellets to create my seed starting soil using soil blockers. I did sift the soil with a 1/4” sifter before mixing with my fluffed up sheep wool pellets to sift out larger clumps. Only found 1 small stone in the entire bag.Hands down this is the best peat free seed starting potting soil available. I like that it’s peat free not just for sustainability but, when you water the mix doesn’t rise up in the container which peat is notorious for doing. It takes a long time to fully hydrate peat when dry. Hence, why it rises up in the container until fully hydrated. My seeds all germinated in record time this year. No complaints whatsoever and my veggie starts are loving this peat free potting soil too.Highly recommend.

Use like hydroponic.
This "soil" has a learning curve. Do good research or you'll likely kill your plants. Underwatering will be the easiest way to kill them with this product. This retains at least 10% oxygen even if you just drowned it. Use a fabric pot for best results. It'll flush nutrients out with each watering so look into fertigation. The size was good and the value is there. I'd say it'll be good for a few grows realistically, it's definitely well made/ durable.
