The product works to descale, BUT I feel it important for people to know that despite following instructions for the K-Supreme Plus that I own, there is a slight but possible situation of the machine fuse turning off your coffee maker if it overheats (since you’re literally running it over and over again for about 30 minutes to clean it). If you think, as I did, that the possibility is low, just expect that it could happen, like it did for me. If it does, you will have to take the machine apart to get to the fuse, insert a paper clip to switch the fuse back on for the coffee machine to turn back on. I got this machine for my elderly mother, and without me she would’ve had trouble fixing this on her own. Just an FYI. I feel like these products need a warning that this is possible. It seems to happen often enough that there are a ton of YouTube videos on how to fix it. One commentator mentioned it happens because you didn’t position the water reservoir on correctly. For me, i noticed that at the end of the descaling process, instead of turning off or giving me a refill water notice, it kept trying to suck with no water, overheating the heating element, causing the fuse to switch. If anything, don’t expect the machine to know when the water is empty, keep filling it even if it’s at the end of the process, just keep refilling until the descaling process stops completely which normally shuts off the machine. Wow! I am seriously impressed with the Keurig 3-Month Brewer Maintenance Kit (with Descaling Solution). My Keurig Duo had started acting up — no matter how many cups I selected on the carafe side, it would only brew 6 cups. I was this close to replacing the whole machine after more than 3 years of ownership (and zero maintenance on my part, I’ll admit). Thankfully, I decided to try this cleaning kit first. After running the descaling solution and following the instructions, it was like magic. The “coffee pot” side now brews the correct amount again and the whole machine feels like it’s working like brand new. I couldn’t believe that buildup alone was causing the issue. The kit was easy to use, straightforward, and absolutely worth the price — especially compared to buying a whole new brewer. While I’m not sure I’ll stick to the exact 3-month schedule, I will definitely be maintaining it much more regularly from now on. If your Keurig isn’t performing the way it used to, try this before replacing it. It saved me hundreds of dollars.

Compré este kit para darle mantenimiento a mi cafetera Keurig y resultó muy efectivo. Sólo que no trae instrucciones en español, pero encontré varios tutoriales que me ayudaron.
