baKblade 2.0 PLUS - Back Hair Removal and Body Shaver (DIY), Ergonomic Handle, Shave Wet or Dry (Extra Blades Included)

I have body hair. A lot of body hair. Imagine a Silverback gorilla crossed with Steve Carell from "The Forty Year Old Virgin" if you want a visual. As such I'm always looking for the best and most efficient way to remove said body hair as it can be rather time consuming, so when my Bakblade "bigmouth" ran out of cartridges, I figured it was time for an upgrade.Enter the Bakblade 2.0, I've had this thing about two months now and this is what I've observed.1. The blade(s) are narrower than the original Bakblade. While it's only an inch or so, it does take longer to cover the same amount of area.2. The angle of the blade(s) has been changed from the original. Its more "closed" now. The result of this is that I cannot seem to find an angle that will cut effectively with either blade. The original design by contrast was more open, and seemed to cut more readily regardless of the hair length.3. It has two blade(s). This might seem like a silly gripe to some, but ultimately will have a greater cost when its time to replace them. The original model cut great with a single blade, even with long hair.4. This new one is shorter than the original by several inches. If you're a large man, it may prove difficult to reach the whole back coming over the shoulder (the angle I find cuts best). This new model does fold, which is a nice feature, but has thus far been unnecessary to me.All BakBlade has done is over complicate their design, with a less effective (though more polished) "upgrade." Form is supposed to follow function and BakBlade violated that rule.My recommendation is to go with still available BakBlade "bigmouth" model. Mine is over three years old and still works great with minimal maintenance

This is absolutely game changing. I have tried different methods of shaving my body hair for years, with varying degrees of success and usually a ton of head ache. Razors don't reach, trimmers cut your skin and don't reach, girlfriend shouldn't have to do it, it was all a total pain, literally and figuratively. This reached every spot on my back, and it looks as good as if I used a regular razor. I even used it to shave the hair on my triceps with no problem. Easy to clean it. Blades are easy to remove and put back in. The head comes off easily. This is the best men's grooming device for guys with body hair, period! Body hair is unsightly and I am embarrassed to take my shirt off with a mountain of back hair. Now there's no need to worry. I can have a clean shavin back and body whenever I want. I wish I could kiss the guys that invented this thing. Bravo!

Guys if your like me and you enjoy camping in the great outdoors but hate taking your shirt off because you always catch Bigfoot taking pics of you...then get yourself a Bakblade. This product actually does what it says. Easy to remove back hair by yourself and leaves it looking smooth as can be...

Easy to use. Can get a smooth shave and reach the whole back. My wife sure is happy because I don't have to ask her to shave my back anymore.

I was really worried this thing would be a waste of $30, but boy was I wrong! I actually can't believe I waited a few years to buy this. My back is so harry some people could easily confuse me for a sasquatch, if my head weren't bald.Don't expect you can take this thing to your squatch back and have it clean shaven in one pass, it's not going to happen on the first use. Once you get that first shave finished, do a maintenance shave every few days to keep it short and it won't take as long.For that first shave though I highly recommend doing it outside of the shower. I had so much hair shaved off that I actually clogged the drain and found myself standing ankle deep in shower water. It also helps to use a mirror to see the spots you're missing.Hands down best $30 I ever spent. One less hairy beast in the world to be mistake for good ol Sasquatch.

This product deserves more stars. Easy to use, gentle, and works! I use mine dry and I haven't cut myself (yet). Leaves my back smooth as a baby's ass. No more asking the wife, and no more embarrassment.

Amazing pain free product. Used battery powered shavers that caused pain and scratches. This battery free unit is snooth and thorough and a joy to use. Strongly recommend!

I’ve noticed in my older age that my back is getting hairy. Not insanely but enough that I can easily see it looking in the mirror. I thought I was gonna have to go some place and have someone remove it while I lay on my stomach. I had no idea there was a product like this until I decided to look. I went through the reviews and thought why not give it a shot.As soon as it arrived I tore into the box. The item comes folded as shown in my photos with blades already attached and an extra set of blades for when you’re ready to change them. There’s also a small brush for cleaning attached to the item. I knew you could use it dry so I immediately took my shirt off, unfolded BakBlade and got positioned in the mirror to do the back of my shoulders. It took a second to figure how to lay it right but I understood right away. It doesn’t hurt at all. Feels like it’s getting a good itch that’s been driving you crazy. I moved it across my upper back and clearly watched the hairs disappear. It was honestly very exciting. Once I figured out all the angles for doing all my back I was done in no time. Needed no help. Extremely happy with this purchase. I will just replace blades as needed. My back had a tingle after I was done but there was no irritation or redness. Really happy with this buy.It’s already been a week or so since that first use and I still don’t see a need to use it again just yet. My back still appears smooth looking. I love it. That may vary for other people as far as when you’ll need it again.
