I'm a bit of a watch nerd. Love the things. Hate the prices. I'm also really skeptical when it comes to really inexpensive watches. But decided to take a risk on this Benyar, and it's quite beautiful. I've gotten several compliments on it already. It LOOKS significantly more expensive than it is. Band is a little stiff and thick and will take some wearing in. Careful if you wear this on a hot day because any moisture shows up on the band and wrist sweat will darken it rather obviously. It's a good size, The chronograph function *kinda* works - it's a single second tick on the lower dial, but as there's already a second hand, it's rather moot. The sun/moon is a nice touch and date functions. It does have a loud second tick, which I find kind of comforting, but others might find annoying. I'm quite impressed and enjoy this as an everyday casual wear and one I'm not afraid to work in at this price. All in all - it's an exceptional deal.

Good looking watch. The movement I think is good. Only off a few seconds per day. If you are a stickler for time accuracy this may not work for you. The movement does not correctly line up with the marks on the dial (with secondhand on the 12, the minute hand does not line up directly with the marks). The stop watch does return to zero but zero is a bit advanced from TDC so it shows approximately 2 seconds when zeroed. Not a terribly big deal but it could be if you are timing something. Bottom line: Good looking watch, excellent value for an inexpensive watch. If you are big on timekeeping, you would probably not be looking in this price range but there we are.

I bought this watch thinking that at the price, it wouldn’t last long. I was wrong. I work in an industrial area of a ship yard and this watch is very strong and sturdy. I’ve had it for about a year now with no problems. I would highly recommend it!!!!

Looks great! easy to shorten and lengthen the band. I didn't think to check if it had a button to light up the watch face or if the numbers and hands glowed; it doesn't have either so you can't check time if you are in a dark room or outside at night

Good quality watch that actually came how it looks in the picture. It was set right in the box and not smudged or scratched. The only gripe is that it didn't get here by the estimated time.

This is an automatic wrist watch (a self-wind watch). It is a maximum size for my wrist, but I have small wrists for a man. It is also a maximum thickness for my taste, meaning I find it acceptable but a bit thick. The crystal seems fine so far, and I can read the time clearly from most angles. The face of the watch is very attractive and the hour hand, minute hand, and second hand are easy to see and to be differentiated. I don't really use any of the three small hands, but they are inconspicuous to my eye so as not to confuse the hour, minute, and second hands and what they are each telling me. The dark black background of the face makes everything else very clear. The very dark gray color of the case is to me very attractive, and the three wind and set controls are of an optimal size for hand control and appearance.

So far it is running great and looks good.

Before I acquired this item, I had been searching for an elegant looking, low budget time piece. The leather band features a classic style, along with the craftsmanship and design made this a no brained. Thrilled that it arrived one day early. There is a reason that Amazon is a success, they know that if their customers do not get results from them, they will somewhere else. Never a question about it.

In general this watch satisfied my requirements.It was orriginally purchased as a relatively cheap replacement for my normal watch for which I could not get a new battery as all the jewelers were closed due to covid. It has proved to be a good time keeper so far although I havea few citicisms. I found that setting the time was rather difficult as the hans were very sensitive and the minute hand tended to move when the adjuster was returnd to its normal positon but with care this could be avoided. I also found the stopwatch controls a bit hit and miss but this was realy a minor point as I found the small dials very hard to readwithout a magnifying glass. Overall I was happy enough with the watch which looked nice, was delivered quickly when promised and filled my requirements although I cannot vouch for its long term accuracy as I have only had it for a week.

I liked the style of this watch as soon as I saw it. There are a few details that I was not happy with but are not aboutthe functions of the watch , no. 1 is that the instructions included with the watch do not explain the settings of the 3small dials. no2 is that the watch is illustrated with a tool for shortening the watch strap . It dose not come with the watch , this seems to me to be a bit of let down .The watch works well & keeps good time & looks good now that I have taken some links out of the strap without the use of the said tool , easy to do if you can work out how it is put together. I would recommend this watch though.

Bought one of these watches after doing a little research on line. These are Chinese, but are very impressive for the price I paid. They got great reviews on several watch websites and sound like reliable bits of time keeping with nice modern looks. Bought one as a gift for my 76 year old dad, who likes a nice chunky metal watch. He was delighted with it and thought it looked a lot more expensive than £38. Came with a nice presentation box and adjuster to take links out (nice touch) which works very well. Highly recommended for a sub 40 quid watch.

Wow what can I say about this watch!!! I loved it and my hubby loved it too. It looks classy and expensive enough to be used for going out but also durable for everyday wear. The black watch with the gold looks great and not cheap looking at all. Was handy that it came with the tool to make it smaller as it was quite big on the hubby, now it fits great. Great at timekeeping. Value for money and would definitely recommend to others.

I like watch and paid only 40£ so if it will last for atleast 1 yer will buy few more.Sad part that in box was no warranty card or any papers just cloth to clean watch….And in picture stated comes with link remover but wasn’t there….
