A friend told me about these and I bought them the same day. The value for the price is good, good quality and size. They polishing great for small item, easy to use, and last a long time.

Buffing attachments work good, just make sure to start with very high grit first to avoid undo scratches.

I like the product, they work great for polishing silver jewelry. There are 7 grits, butonly 6 shafts. I sent an email to the seller asking why. This is their reply: “Hello, these shafts can be reused. After removing the polished disk, you can install a new disk.” I took off a star for lack of convenience . I ended up buying an additional shaft at a local store for $2. Add that to the price of this product.

Ok, for what these are and the intended use, they are ok. They are about the same size as a standard disk that can fit on any disk adapter. The quality was OK as I found they wear out quicker than a disk. You have to make sure you grab the correct one from the chart on the box because they all feel the same. And the direction of it matters too. I'll probably stick to regular sand paper and grinding disks.

If you’re a silver smith and are looking for a a flawless high shine polish, skip these and get the 3m set. While I think these are great for a beginner smith, they do leave grooves in your metal. I used these for about a year and finally upgraded to the 3m set, and wow they are so much better. These cost a lot less, but not worth it in my opinion.

These are the best. They polish up metal very quickly, get into tight spaces, and you can stack a few on the mandrel if you want to polish a bigger surface. I wouldn't waste these polishing a large surface, but for polishing little things and tight crevasses, you can't go wrong.
