Great game for rainy days, reaches across the house! Definitely worth it.

This toy is terrible from many aspects. For what you're getting it's overpriced but I was going to get it for my son because I had a Tin Can Alley when I was a kid and loved it. This thing arrives (for a Christmas gift) and the pistol is huge! It's large for my hands (I wear XL gloves!) so for my kid it was crazy large. He couldn't hold it with 2 hands comfortably. We put batteries in the "log" so he could shoot the cans off and the pistol didn't work. I thought maybe the batteries were dead (because it was those cheap Chinese batteries that come in most toys and remotes these days) so I changed them. Nope! Still didn't work. I even tried changing them one more time....nothing. The pistols, to be SO BIG is incredibly cheaply made. The trigger felt like it would break right off if you squeeze it even moderately hard. It was a fail on many levels. We Requested a return through Amazon and sent it back. Save yourself the hassle. Find something else. This is a great concept but when you run the risk of only maybe 50% of them working (I feel I'm being generous with that estimate after reading the other reviews) then you might be better off just trying your luck at a scratch off lottery ticket. You can waste your money however you choose though. Trust me, take a pass on this one. It's not worth your time.

My three nephews in Texas absolutely loved this gift. They are 9, 7 and 2. I gave it to the 7 year old and they couldn't stop playing with it. The 2 year old looked like he was watching a magic trick when the infrared gun shot the plastic cans off the log. He kept looking around in awe at everyone as if to say, "Are you seeing this too!" I would highly recommend this gift.

The lazer beams do not always knock the cans off.Not sure it is worth the money it cost.

My son loves the shooting game! He has so much fun shooting at this, watching the item fly off the log and listening to the Western sounds. Now, I must say the sounds are loud and annoying to the momma, but the kid loves it. You must aim well to hit the target. I can see how a child might get frustrated if they couldn't hit the target, but my son is a pretty good shot, and he has done well with this so far.

Bought this game for my two grandkids, ages 6 and 7. They find this game fascinating as it's "old fashioned" and they try to knock off the items on the log. It's made cheap with plastic, but works. There is a "heads up" on this game...the kids got frustrated at first because they were aiming right at it, moved closer, and still nothing. I discovered there is a sensor right below the items, they have to hit that vs. the items. It's hidden, so it's easy to miss. Once I showed them the sensors to hit, they got the hang of it. The items pop off and fall off the log. Took a bit to figure it out. Otherwise, fun game.

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He is 3 and has trouble with the nerf guns being hard for him to reset between shots. This is easier for him and he likes the bottles falling off the log when he hits them .

This item is poorly made. The gun breaks very easily and the first one was returned for a replacement. Second one never worked from delivery. Don't waste your money.
