Lubegard 19610 Instant Shudder Fix

For those wondering, I'm just an average Computer Nerd kind of guy, not really a car guy, but I do most of my own maintenance on everything! Being a very Technical Computer guru, I'm always cautious when it comes to "Quick Fixes in a bottle" kind of stuff. I guess that is the analytical side of me kicking in all the time and it usually serves me well in the computer world, so I really didn't have much hope for fixing my 2001 Lincoln Town Car with about 91,000 miles on it. The car started "Shuddering" a few years ago, and like most folks, I had to eventually replace a "COP, Coil on Plug" device. About 8 months later, the Shudder started again, and this time a dash trouble light came on and the code indicated a bad COP device, so I had my mechanic replace another one that was found to be bad. At $200 buck a wack, this was getting expensive, so when this Shudder came back a third time, I decided to replace all of them as well as new plugs and wires. This worked great for a few months but then I got a "Different" kind of Shudder, and it only seemed to happen when shifting at speeds over about 35 MPH, and applying a little more gas pedal did not get rid of it like it did with the original COP based Shudder I experienced. In fact the engine was running smooth as glass, and it seemed like the car was trying to go into OverDrive locking transmission mode when this happened, so I was really confused. Lifting off the gas pedal then getting back on it seemed to make it stop, but then in a few minutes it would start again, particularly when approaching a slight grade up in the road. This car is used mostly in town, so speeds are slow, around 30 - 50 MPH when this happens. Out on the highway, the problem is much more pronounced. It seemed like the OverDrive would engage and then disengage very quickly and often would feel like you were driving over the little rumble bump strips on the side of the interstate at high speed. Doing a little research on the web led me to try this product as it made the most sense, and was certainly reasonably priced. So I ordered it from Amazon, and incredibly, it arrived the same day!!!! (Great Job Amazon!!!!!) I kind of stuck it in the corner for a few days, and this afternoon when my wife came home from the grocery store, she was complaining about the Shudder, so I went out and poured in one tube of this "Instant Shudder FIXX" into the transmission via the dip stick filler pipe and decided to just take the car for a spin and see if this was all it was cracked up to be. I don't impress easily, but WOW !!!!! WOW !!!!! WOW !!!!! I pulled out of the driveway onto our two lane 35 MPH road and drove about a mile with NO SHUDDER!!!! I turned onto HWY 17-92 and headed for Interstate 4 which is about 4 miles away. Speed limit on this road was 40 for about 2 miles, then 50 for another 2 miles. I got on I-4 heading East and accelerated off the ramp onto the highway, set the cruise control for 72 MPH, and let her fly!. After encountering several hilly areas where the car would have to work a little to get up, I exited the highway and took a few backroads all the way back home. Speeds ranged from about 30-55 MPH. This car shifted and ran smooth as silk!!!! Not a Single Shudder or pause during shifting during the entire trip!!!! I'm Absolutely Astounded with how well this product works!!!! Like I said earlier, I am very pessimistic when it comes to Miracle "Fixes in a bottle" products, but honestly, I still can't believe how fast and how well this product has worked in my old Lincoln Town Car!!!! I figured I had nothing to lose, and really didn't want to spend money for a whole new transmission for this old car and was going to trade it in for something else because the erratic shifting was just driving me crazy, particularly out on the highway. Wow, what more can I say? Anyway, if you have an old Lincoln Town Car that has a similar Shuddering problem and you are sure it's not the COP, Plugs or Wires, you owe it to yourself to give this product a shot!!!! If anything changes, I'll definitely update this post, but for now, this car is running as good as it did the day it left the showroom!!! Truly Amazing!!!! I have a 2018 Buick Enclave with 49,000 miles on it, it has been driven very gingerly, no towing, no snow. At about 48,000 miles it started having a slow speed shutter in the lower gears. I went to YouTube University and found this product being used with a transmission drain. I proceeded to order this item and then picked up the OEM Dex 6 transmission oil from the dealer. It honestly took me more to warm up the transmission than to jack it up and drain the transmission oil. I drained a total of 5.5 quarts of oil and just replaced the same amount with this additive. I warmed up the transmission and shifted through the gears before I set out to drive it. Immediately and I will repeat Immediately there was a 100% change in the transmission. It made no shutter, it had no hesitation, I felt like the day I drove off the lot with 7 miles on my odometer. I can't be happier with this product and the entire transmission drain and replace method. I am going on 500 miles now and I haven't felt a shutter since I used this product and the new AC/Delco transmission oil. I saved myself hundreds of dollars because every single transmission repair business wanted over $300 dollars for doing this same service that I did in 25 minutes with a jack and two towers and a rear wheel brace. If you can change your own oil, you can do this job just fine, don't overtighten the screw when you put it back in, only 6 pounds of pressure. There is no filter to change in the engine, it has an attached screen inside of it. Just drain what you can and replace and add this Lubegard miracle transmission additive and you will not be disappointed. 100% a great product! I am inching toward 900 Miles since I drained and filled and added to miracle shutter fix to my transmission oil. The transmission has not had one shudder or hesitation since I added this liquid. Today is May 1st, 2026 and I absolutely am so happy I did this myself after watching videos on YouTube.

I own a 2006 Toyota Tacoma that suddenly developed the classic “Taco Shudder” at 139K miles. This is all about the torque converter inside the transmission. It shuddered as braking occurred and when accelerating from a stop. I didn’t have a high-level of confidence in this product, but figured I had nothing to lose by trying it. The 1st tube of Shudder Fix took 85% of the shudder out within 20 miles of driving. Then the shudder returned and began getting worse. The company website instructed to instill a 2nd tube if the problem continued. I ordered and instilled a full 2nd tube. Walla!!!! The shudder is completely gone after another 20 miles and now a hundred miles. This stuff is truly amazing and I’m a believer!

Added to the transmission while doing an oil change. Shortly after I was running errands and could immediately notice a difference. No more shudder or lag in shifts while driving and much smoother acceleration. Definitely recommend.

Worked for a while but later had to add another one

I've had a transmission shudder for over 2 years and it recently got worse. Before potentially spending thousands, I figured I'd give this a try, and no kidding, it worked immediately! I'll update this if I have a problem. I used this and a $10 fluid transfer hand pump so, the problem was fixed for about $20. Amazing product!!! Note: I extracted a bit of transmission fluid first so the shudder stop wouldn't just spill out when putting it in. Then filled using the remaining transmission fluid I extracted.

UPDATED 8/10/2026: we added this to our 2008 Chrysler Town & Country with 125K miles two days ago with a hard shift issue. Immediately worked within 10-15 miles. Shifts butter smooth now. This stuff really works! Worked well in our Trailblazer, too, but I changed out the transmission fluid at 40K miles and that slight shudder is still gone. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Used on a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer and this product has reduced a slight shudder when accelerating by 95%. It was far worse before we added the product. Now it is barely noticeable and sometimes we don’t feel it at all. This product really works. I will be changing the transmission fluid soon (we only have 40K miles on the car) but if the shudder returns we will be buying this product again. Ordered some for my older Chrysler Town and Country with 125K miles that has a noticeable hard shift and shutter and we will see how that works.

Works as described. Immediately stopped the dreaded “torque shudder” in two different vehicles. Added one tube with a complete fluid drain and refill and the other tube to the existing fluid. Worked great both times and almost instantly. I would definitely recommend this product although I can’t attest to the longevity if its effectiveness as I’ve only been using it for about two weeks.

Great product for Honda automatic. Shifting like a dream.

Great stuff this, totally stopped the tcc judder in my x350, letting me carry on using the car without the worry of stressing the gearbox while it gets booked in for a replacement torque converter. I don't think this stuff is a permanent fix though.

Muy buen producto. Lo utilicé en la caja automática que a veces hacia algun tiron leve y suaviza mucho el andar. Lo que hace básicamente es rejuvenecer las juntas de goma que van en la caja.
