5/27/20 UPDATE: I have changed my rating back to 5 stars, not only for the speaker but for iFox Creations as well. I sent an email to iFox regarding my broken speaker and I received a response the next day with an apology about the speaker no longer working. Today, I received a new speaker as promised. Thank you, Margo Dillon, for your quick response. It is great to see that companies, such as iFox Creations will honor the warranty on their product, and will replace their product should it fail during the warranty period. The only problem I have now is having to wait until the Stay In Place orders are lifted so I can dispose of it properly. 😷5/21/20 UPDATE: Sadly I must charge my rating to 2.5 stars. I purchased my speaker on 6/16/19 and approximately 2 months ago, the sound coming from my speaker sounded like a rattle was in the background. Then it would only work when it was plugged in. Now it no longer works! I will contact the seller to see if they will replace it since it is under the 1-year warranty.I like the iFox iF012 Bluetooth Shower Speaker but I am not sure if it is a new product. The box was a bit damaged and the speaker and wires were not wrapped in any protected plastic. This is another reason why I think it is not a new speaker. I was ironing when it was delivered and I immediately plugged it in so it could charge. The directions say 3 hours, but by the time I had ironed two shirts, it had a full charge! I also noticed the base is black and many other pictures show the base as a clear color, but that isn't as big of an issue for me since the speaker itself is black.1st day I received it, I attached it to the wall of my shower and walked away. 2:00 a.m. we heard a loud crash that scared us silly. We thought someone had thrown something through the windows of the bathroom. Turn on the light to look around and once our heart beats returned to somewhat normal, we noticed the speaker was on the shower floor and decided the loud crash was from it falling off the wall and bouncing around in the shower. Thankfully no glass or tiles were broken and I sat it on the corner of the tub. The next morning, I attached it to the bottom of the glass shower door during my shower but I remove it after my shower just in case it decides to fall again.I wish I could tone down the bass. I listen to a lot of books and the voices are not very clear and the music is too much as well. I have to turn down the speaker and my phone and/or tablet considerably. I tried modifying the base and treble sounds using my phone and tablet but it's just too much for my liking - kinda sounds like a symbol or metal hitting metal with voices and if volume is turned up. This little speaker does put out a lot of sound, and because of it's size, you wouldn't think the bass would be so deep, but it is!All in all, I like the speaker and the cost is great. I am thinking of buying another one to keep downstairs - perhaps on Prime Day. 😉UPDATE: July 5, 2019 -- I have changed my rating from 4 stars to 4 stars. I contacted iFox regarding my concerns regarding the sound and if my speaker was new, and I received an immediate (within 2 hrs) response from Margo. This lady is on top of customer service issues! She apologized for the issues and advised me that she ordered a replacement speaker for me. I was not expecting that at all. This was on 7/1 and I received the replacement today - probably would have received it sooner if not for the 4th of July holiday.Although I have not had a chance to charge the speaker or to see if the sound is better, I give Margo 👍👍 for making me feel like she and iFox care about their customers and wanting their customers to be happy. Because of this, I'm going to order another one to put downstairs as well as one for a friend. By the way, the replacement has a black base to it as well, but the replacement was packages differently.

I bought this to replace the Eboda speaker which died on me after 3 years. To be clear the speaker itself faded away into silence, the battery was still excellent. I chose not to replace it with the same model because I didn't need flashy lights which I turned off every time I used it, and I wanted controls on the front not the side of the speaker.In that respect this performs very well, but I am very disappointed in the battery life; this thing loses 10% charge every time I use it, and I am only in the shower for 10 minutes maximum.The old speaker would last up to three months on a charge, and that had the flashy lights draining it too.I am still on the fence about keeping this - I have a week left to make my mind up, but the battery life is a huge disappointment, especially as it was rated very well for that which influenced my decision to get it

This is my second purchase of this product - It connects up to my devices in what the designers call TWS with the first speaker purchased. Once connected (paired) to the first speaker the second speaker when paired with the first speaker creates a left and a right channel or True Wireless Stereo (TWS).Sound is good. Speakers are durable, and look great. I will use these on camping trips as they are lightweight compared to my other Bluetooth speakers.

Second Edit: I wanted this edit at the top of the review. First unit had a problem, the seller contacted me and quickly replaced the one that wouldn't hold a charge (original, and somewhat irrelevant, review below). They explained that this was a rarity and I'm inclined to believe them because now the darned thing won't stop working. I waited to make this edit because I wanted to go through a few charge cycles and comment on how many minutes (hours?) of use I got from the speaker. Well, I've lost track. I usually listen to the speaker while I get ready for work, so 20 to 30 minutes a day, and I haven't had to recharge the speaker for a few weeks at least. The sound is really good for my needs, news or audio books. I don't know how a music lover would rate it. I did answer a phone call once when my wife called me from out of town. She was unable to tell I was in the shower with the water running but said I was easy to hear, as was she. The buttons are easy to use and clearly marked so even someone with "old eyes" can use the speaker easily. In all, I think this is a great little speaker and the seller really takes their business seriously.I liked this product well enough at the start, but after recharging it for the third time it will not play for longer than 10 to 15 minutes. I replaced a similar item with this iFox Bluetooth Shower Speaker. The speaker I replaced was very similar in form and function, except that the previous speaker was 5W output and this speaker is 3W output. The volume was less, but it was okay for my needs, which are listening to news, weather, and audio books in the mornings. I figured if the volume was enough, then the battery would just last longer between charges. My previous speaker would last about a week of getting ready in the morning, say 30 minutes a day, between charges. The first time I charged this speaker it only lasted 3 days and needed charging, I've read that sometimes Li batteries need to be charged a few times before they really hit their stride, so I wasn't overly concerned when I had to recharge it so soon. Sure enough, after that second charging the speaker lasted for over two weeks. Unfortunately, after the third recharge it only lasted two days. Now after 4 or five recharges it lasts about 10 minutes. The return period was only 30 days, but it took just slightly longer than that to realize the defect was permanent. My last speaker was very similar and lasted for just over three and a half years before the battery finally gave out, but it is no longer available. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this product.Edit:The above was my original review of the speaker. Almost immediately after posting the review, on a Sunday afternoon, the company reached out to me concerning this product. I added two stars for this effort since I consider customer support to be a major selling point for any product, and this company seems to really care about their reputation. Once I have a chance to use try the product again, I will add another edit summarizing my experience. Hopefully my next review will be five stars.
