You have to have the software to configure it. The software is free if you know where to get it. it runs on a 32 bit machine. It will not run on 64 bit. you can contact me if you want and i can give you a copy of it. it also comes with another package of software for another controller if you ever get one. and Allen Bradley 1000 series I think. I am running the software on win 10 32 bit. you will also need a cable to connect the computer to teh PLC the plc uses a 9 pin serial and the other end of the cable normally is a db nine also. as serial outputs are not to common any more the cable will be a db9 to a USB you can find them easily mine has firmware 360 on it. and it works. it takes a bit to get it going and get use to it.
