Sports SB05 Shoulder Brace | Compression Support & X-Strap Stabilization | Breathable Adjustable Fit

I wish I had found this brace years ago! It has totally turned my life around, allowing me to enjoy sports (specifically, hockey) again at 45 years old. I am not a professional athlete by any means, but I love playing ice hockey and I've had more than my fair share of bumps and bruises as well as injuries over the years. Early in my career, I dislocated my shoulder severely, which required multiple surgeries. Eventually I wore down that joint so bad that it had to be replaced with an artificial joint. My shoulder pain was constant (before and after the surgery), and as I got into my 40s, it seemed to get worse, especially when I played hockey or did anything that required using my arms. I wore a sling brace for a while, and it helped, but then I'd get arm pit pain from overuse of that brace. Then I separated my good shoulder last year, so I needed a brace to protect both shoulders and after much research, I settled with this product. At first, when I received the product, I had difficulty figuring out how to put it on (it is tricky), but once I had it on, I could feel that my shoulders felt supported. For the first few games, I tried wearing both my sling and shoulder brace, but eventually stopped using the sling and just used this. It has eliminated all the pain I used to receive while playing hockey (such for example, when people would slash my stick, the vibrations would travel up my arm and into my shoulder as pain, but no longer with this brace). In fact, the pain I'd get after a game or workout has also been reduced due to this brace. And if there's something around the house that will require me exerting effort and using my shoulders, I'll put this brace on, because it really helps keep my shoulder from slipping, and providing it with the support needed. I feel like if I had found this brace years ago, I could have prevented having to replace my shoulder ten years ago. Bottom line, my shoulder will never be 100% again, but this brace has been the closest thing in revitalizing my life and bringing enjoyment back into a sport that I love and thought I'd have to give up due to pain. I can't give it enough stars, because I feel much happier in my life now that I can continue sport activities without enduring adverse pain.

I got this because my job requires that I lift heavy stuff. I have a torn rotator cuff on both shoulders, and it makes it almost impossible to do my job, and causes severe pain. I needed something to helps stabilize my shoulders, so I tried this. It helps a lot, and I highly recommend it for anyone with shoulder or neck and upper back issues. Runs small so measure shldr/chest, & if close to max. measurement, go next size up.

I originally purchased this product because I have pain behind my right shoulder blade area, on my upper back. I don't have shoulder issues, but I was desiring to find a brace that would offer more support to my upper back. I'm a hula hoop entertainer. During my shows I'm constantly using my shoulders and back. Overall, this brace helped to support my upper back. It felt like I was less likely to get injured while doing activities. If you do have shoulder problems, I could see this brace could potentially be challenging to get on. Fitting the brace without the help of another person requires some shoulder and back movement, which could potentially aggravate an injury. Since I don't have a shoulder problem, I don't have to worry about that as much. Overall for my situation, I find use in this brace. Make sure you get the correct size. Don't guess, actually measure the circumference of your chest following the size chart before buying. This brace is a tight and snug fit.

Not good the product runs way to small I’m a medium I ordered a large had to return it for an extra large hopefully that’s not to small, so size up a whole size or two, also the quality of the brace is good

I am a female with average size busts. This brace is not for women unless you have very small busts. I got the size I should have gotten and it rode up over my busts, then I went up a size and although the fit was better it still rode up. This brace just doesn't fit comfortable at all. Also, compared to the brace I think I am gonna go with, this brace is very expensive. On the positive side, it is supportive, comfortable, made well and easy to put on and take off. I will be returning this brace, unfortunately.

I separated my shoulder quite severely racing BMX and I was visiting a motorcycle/ATV store looking at shoulder protection products. The salesman there told me that what they had was not what I needed, but recommended the EVS Sports Shoulder Brace for my injury. We were visiting Utah for a short time and he did not have time to get one in for me before we were leaving so my wife looked it up on Amazon. They had one and it could be delivered quickly. I started wearing it and while it is a bit hot and itchy, it was amazing how much better my shoulder felt when I wore it. I was able to start doing activities that I did not think would be possible. One of the highlights of the trips we take to Utah is to go mountain biking at Sundance Ski Resort but with my shoulder I did not think it would be possible. With this shoulder brace I was able to mountain bike. It was not like normal but it made it possible. I still wear it to mountain bike but I am still not able to race BMX yet with my shoulder. I will continue to wear it when (if??) my shoulder ever heals enough that it gets back to normal so help protect my shoulders and keep them in place in case of another crash.

Very strong. Keeps both shoulders firm.

The only complaint I have is the measuring chart sizes are small, if you're measurement is near the top of a size order the next larger size. Other wise it is a good brace, I damaged both rotator cuffs and it helps a great deal.
