Teach Yourself Origami: Second Revised Edition (Dover Origami Papercraft)

What started as a small project to make holiday ornaments led to more interest in wonderful art of Origami. After doing some projects using youtube videos, we wanted to learn the instructions provided in Origami books. John Montroll's "Teach Yourself Origami" is the perfect book for a completely novice Origami enthusiast. The projects covered in the book are in increasing order of difficulty. John Montroll is not only a great designer, but also an amazing instructor.The Book was delivered on time, and arrived and in condition described.

My daughter loved this book. She is 10 and has been able to use the instructions to teach herself a lot of the different figures in the book. Took her a few tries to get the hang of it, but she really has gotten milage out of it. The instructions and pictures are clear and concise. I would recommend this.

Excellent explanations and pretty designs

I found this book very help in learning the basic folds. I still had trouble figuring out some of the intermediate designs. It really takes a lot of practice but the book is a good reference.

Un grande classico da uno dei più famosi origamisti moderni. Peccato che nessuno lo abbia ancora tradotto in italiano. Perfetto per chi voglia imparare da solo le basi (e non solo le cose più elementari) di questa arte meravigliosa ed affascinante.

Ce livre a été acheté dans l'optique d'apprendre les plis de base pour faire des origamis. Ceci permet donc de pouvoir apprendre à lire facilement les diagrammes que l'on peut trouver sur internet. Le livre est écrit dans un anglais basique n'entravant pas la compréhension. Il suit une progression de modèles très simples allant du plus compliqué.Il est vraiment parfait pour apprendre.
