This is an actual belt for your pants. It ships as a single piece.

After 7 years of almost daily use, the first part to break was the metal adjustment peice. Otherwise the belt is still going strong.

You can wash the fabric portion by hand. I would not recommend machine washing. Hang dry. Or use a hair dry to dry buckle portion metal, to help prevent any rusting.
