What a relief to have remote controls that actually work. The trouble with most remotes is the contacts under the buttons wear out over time. You probably don't need to buy the sender (which requires you to install inside the fan, even though this is easy to do) and this purchase will save you some money.

I have fought with my original Hampton Bay remote controls for 10 year. You would have to get close to the fan for them to work. I finally got fed up and ordered these. they work perfectly anywhere in the room, can't believe I went for that long with the originals.

The remote worked fine. It was a bit confusing because it said in order to match it, you had to set the buttons inside to what’s in the fan. I thought we’d have to take the fan apart. Instead I just looked at the old remote & set them the same as that & it worked perfectly.

Works exactly like the Hampton Bay remote, has all the same functions. So excited to find a replacement, we weren’t sure our old fan (that we love) would’ve usable if we couldn’t replace the remote. Again, there is zero difference between the original report and this replacement other than no logo. Couldn’t be happier!

Installed the batteries and it immediately worked. Put the fan on low and medium and it performed properly. It controls the light on the fan, too. The original ceiling fan had not been operating for 3 years since we bought the house but it worked and now doesn’t need replacing. I was amazed!

The control buttons on 35 year old ceiling fan control were starting to stick so I ordered this replacement. Works like a charm. I put the 9 volt battery in the device downstairs and to my surprise, I accidentally turned the fan on in the upstairs bedroom from downstairs. Excellent range!

I am thrilled to have a ceiling fan remote control that works again. The original was 19 yrs old when it stopped working, and I was excited to find the same color and style remote control with 3 speed fan settings, dimmer for lights and a button to reverse the fan direction. This works very well, and arrived quickly.
